Since it came as a bit of a surprise to me I asked around the WiH TS to... So last night I learned from SNF that he had been perma-banned from TS. Since it came as a bit of a surprise to me I asked around the WiH TS to better find out why. Eventually I encountered KillerFurby who informed me that he had banned SNF do to him breaking the recruiting rule and that this came after many other problems and go from the owners(non-specifically). I responded politely that I did not see how speculating on a reforming a clan counted as recruiting and that I believed that SNF had had a lack of warning as to his behavior and that the lack of warning was wrong. Not wanting to further discuss the topic I excused myself from teamspeak. Later that evening when attempting to reconnect to the WiH TS I was presented with the following message: "You are banned permanently. Reason: "no drama here. plz play somewhere else"".

As I have I never to my knowledge had any problems with an admin or done anything to deserve a ban I have to assume that I was banned because of the events of Tuesday night as described above. If this is the case I find it completely ridiculous and assume that my ban will be lifted shortly.

A. on may 12th fighting Irish contacted me via WOT looking to platoon, during the course of our platooning he asked me about reviving the old TNT clan and how great it would be to get the old band back together, I was receptive to this idea and told him I would ask around to figure out if it would be feasible (I am currently a recruiter for AA, which pays well gold wise, so I was unwilling to leave my position without a general idea of who would want to restart TNT).

B. On may the 14th (I think) Wustenfuch23 contacted me looking for a platoon, so we platoon for a bit and I told him about irish’s idea for starting TNT and he liked the idea very much, after a few battles for simplicity's sake we joined the WIH TS, once on we talked to several other old members of TNT including killerfurby and Pluto to figure out if they had any interest in restarting TNT, their response was non-committal and suggested I talk to general gorge sometime next week once he gets his computer up and running again, I said ok I will do that and other than asking 1 or 2 other players as they came on if they would be interested that was effectively the end of the conversation of inquiring if they would be interested in restarting TNT(me and wusten were chatting reminiscently about the good old days to a certain extent). We all continued to play WOT and use WIH TS well into the night with me and wusten signing off sometime in the early morning (after we were the only one left in the channel)

C. During the entire evening I was never once temp banned, kicked, poked or warned that my conversation was considered a violation of WIH policy (in retrospect I can see how it would be considered a gray area)

D. When I went to sign on to WIH ts to chat with a RL friend while we played I steam game I received the following message “You are banned permanently. Reason: "recruiting for non WIH clans"”

E. Despite this prema-ban on TS I still have full forum access which to me is at the very least confusing but I least it allows me to appeal this ban.

4-A. this is what I have been told

A. it was communicated to me that killerfurby admitted to implementing the ban after getting consent from one or more of the “owners” for “a list of offences” including this TNT conversation.

5. I believe this ban should be over turned for the following reasons

A. it was just talk, the entire point of the conversation was to help me decide if I would be worth leaving A-A to restart TNT, not to push players to join TNT, if you talk to those involved they will tell you that I didn’t once try to recruit anyone in my current clan (AA), nor did I ask anyone to leave ODIN or offer them any sort of incentive to join a TNT revival, I simply asked if they had any interest in restarting TNT, not to mention TNT currently doesn’t even exist currently. With these facts in mind I honestly think it is hard to consider this conversation “recruiting”

B. TNT was and if it was going to be restated would again be a WIH clan, everyone still comes to the WIH TS and I never once mentioned making a TNT revival anything but a WIH clan because frankly reforming TNT just to move it somewhere else would be idiotic so it cant fairly be considered recruiting for a “NON-WIH clan”. TNT always has and would always be a WIH clan.

C. I was never temp-banned, kicked, poked, warned or told that my conversation was being considered in violation on WIH policy, and if what I have been told is accurate there was plenty of opportunity for the admin in the room at the time to do so. I feel that permanently banning a long standing (over a year now I think) WIH community member form the TS with no warning, no explanation, and no chance to explain themselves is wrong and honestly something I would have never expected from the WIH community.

D. Based upon the fact I was perma-banned for even speculating about restarting TNT with former members I now have no intention of restarting TNT, not now, not ever. TNT is dead and not coming back which means the clan I was supposedly recruiting will not exist and makes this ban unwarranted.

E. Wustenfuch23 was with me during the entire conversation saying the exact same things as me and yet for whatever reason was not banned for recruiting for NON-WIH clans. This indicates a severe bias among some of the admins with prema-banning one community member without warning for an action while ignoring another community member who did the exact same action at the exact same time, especially when reasons for said ban are (in my mind) spacious at best. This has lead to a feeling that one or more admin’s while pretending to be friendly towards me, has disliked me for a very long time and has been looking waiting for an “excuse” to perma-ban me. I hope I am mistaken in this because if this is true what does it say about WIH community?

F. Base on what I have been told this supposed infraction was part of a “list of violations” and that’s why I was perma-banned. I find this even more disturbing then the last possibility because it means multiple people have had multiple issues with me yet I was never once warned or even talked to about my actions. Which creates the inaccurate impression (I hope) that the leadership of WIH keep a secret running tally of infractions against any given individual and at a certain point will permanently ban an individual without talking to them once about any of these supposed infractions.

For these various reasons I believe my perma TS ban needs to reviewed and hopefully overturned. If WIH owners decide not to overturn this ban I would like a detail explanation of why not, what all I have done wrong to deserve a perma-ban and a list of those who were part of this decision making process. As a long-standing WIH member I think im entitled to closure in this regard. I know that some of my speculations in here may anger some and lead them to rule against me in this appeal but before those that this post might offend cast their vote I would ask that you consider that everything I have said has been respectful, from my current perspective truthful, and above all simply speculations that I hope will be proven false through this appeal process.

I rest my fate in your hands.
