woow, looks amazing. cant wait for it to be ready.

but when I was reading I got to this part off the update:

It’s been brought to our attention that one of the gamers in our community has a young son that was born with a heart condition and is in need of a heart transplant. The fathers ingame name is =RAV= BlindFerret , mother’s name is Melinda, and his son’s name is Noah. His son was recently flown 1,600 miles away from his home to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (http://www.lpch.org/clinicalSpecialtiesServices/COE/ChildrensHeartCenter/overview.html) to undergo the adventure of waiting for a Heart Transplant. The family has acquired the web domain http://www.haveaheartfund.com (http://www.haveaheartfund.com/) and will be creating the Noah Baderman Heart Transplant Fund donation website there soon. Bookmark that website and if you’re able to please donate something to help them as this will be very expensive. The family has created a Myspace.com (http://www.myspace.com/noahsheart) page and is keeping it up-to-date to keep people informed of Noah’s progress. We hope that a heart will become available soon for Noah and that everything goes well for him and his family!

pretty sad if you ask me... makes you wonder how much luck you have had you turned out healthy... to bad I dont have that much money....

The game looks sweet - maybe even the next counter-strike..who knows? What I really like is the reoptimized graphics. I always felt that BF2 placed too heavy a burden on graphics cards than was necessary for the overall look and feel. Other games of comparitive graphic complexitity usually gave far beter framerates and overall performance. It'll be nice because even if I do have to get a new graphics card to play the game the way I'd like, I won't be mad about it.

WOW they have the balls to include the MTW-20....I can't belive the damage will be to scale....

(don't know that an ANTI-MATERIEL rifle is? goto: http://club.guns.ru/eng/ntw20.html)

I mean no one has ever dared to make the .50cal as powerfull as it is in real life...it's why I don't see the point of including rifles like these...

I wouldn't be so much worried about the damage that the .50 cal BMG round does as how much penetration is has to hard cover. I can't wait until the day comes I can chop down hard cover such as a brick wall with a M2 or slice through concrete with a .50 BMG straight through the opfor's head. The one thing I loved about games like America's Army was the advantages of team's coordinating indirect fire movements.
