I've heard many complaints of players becoming frustrated with Muttrah City. Yes once the Mec side takes the Docks you are in a world of hurt. The key for the U.S is not only to hold the Docks but to secure the Park as well. Assuming the Mec players know this, they will upon spawning, splitting their forces, and sending a group to the Park ASAP. To counter the Mec offensive, the U.S must do the same. This strategy will not secure the Park, but will stall the Mec advance at the Park long enough for the rest of the U.S team to secure and then clear the Docks.



It is imperative that a full chopper with at least two Spec Ops, depart immediately from the carrier to the Park location. It only takes about thirty seconds for the Mec to reach the Park from the Market. Flight time is about the same, but it should take another fifteen seconds to place the troops.



There are three fields of fire that must be covered. The advantage of the chopper is dropping troops onto the roof tops. Two of the roof tops South and East are accessible by ladder, the last one to the North is not(that's why you need Spec Ops with parachutes to get down).



If you arrive before the Mec team, DO NOT SHOOT RIGHT AWAY! Instead wait for them to go prone at the flag. If they pop smoke, use grenades. Once their initial attempt has failed they will know you are there. Now comes the time to cover the Mec access routes.



They will try to nade you, they will climb the ladders of the other buildings to snipe you. All of that takes time, and time they do not have. By now the rest of the U.S team should have taken the Docks and be on their way to relieve you. Once the U.S team arrives, cover them at the flag. When the flag is taken, use your chutes to glide safely to the ground.



You'll need a skilled pilot. He must hover low to drop off the troops and not land. This strategy does not guarantee a win, but if successful it will give the U.S team a fighting chance.

That is the underlying idea behind my black hawk strategy. I hovered the black hawk in front of the mausque and let my gunner reak havoc on the MEC troops trying to take the flag while the rest ofmy team took the docks and park and moved in on the mausque. It only worked once, but the basic idea should still work. stall them untill you've become rooted on the dock flag.
