So what did people think of it. I thought we were going to play as alex but you dont. You are gordon. Also, I thought it was 4-6hrs of gaming but I beat it in just under 3hrs. I was pretty disapointed it was so short. Other then the shortness and not being alex, it was actually pretty fun.

I uninstalled HL2 along time ago, I couldn't play it without steam going ape crap, trying to download every file on the internet, and with my 56k that don't work out.

I even tried playing the game in "offline" mode, but that didn't work, I came to the conclusion that any business that was going to force me to have a broadband connection for a single player game didn't need my business.

But darn would I like to see how it ends!

Technically, there is no end because after Chapter 5 it says Coming Soon which means the next episode must be chapters 6-11 or something.

With how HL 2 ended, I really don't think I'll play another Half Life game for story again. So, these little episodes don't really do anything for me, especially if they are that short. :thumbsdown:

Episode 1 was worth only 9.95, not 19.95...about 10 bucks too much. Way too much for only 3 hours of work. I also thought we would playing as Alex, not with Alex. Graphics were good and gameplay was fun, but again too short.

SiN episodes left a bad episodic taste in my mouth, so I didn't buy HL2: Ep 1.
