This is kind of pointless now that we have the 1.3 version of PRMM, but oh well.
My thought on what the USMC should do on extraction maps is this; Instead of trying to just rush through the defenses with a convoy, why not clear the way first? The only thing that makes the USMC lose tickets are USMC deaths and the VIP vehicle being destroyed. Losing the VIP vehicle costs a lot more tickets than the whole USMC team being killed while not in the VIP vehicle. So at the beginning instead of sending a convoy, you send you're entire team on foot. You can try wrenching up the mines/killing the MEC ATers to clear the way for a convoy instead of using the first half of the convoy as maned mine clearers. You can also use the hum-vees to cover the infantry, just as long as no one puts the VIP vehicle in danger untill a good deal of the MEC team/MEC team's defenses have been nutralized.
I understand this would take more coordination than any BF2 team can have, but it seems like the logical thing to do.
