Why War is Hell Admins ROCK

OK, I decided to play on a different server the other day so that I could try some custom maps. (For some reason beyond me, people rarely use the War is Hell custom server.) So anyway, I'm playing away on Assault with a group of other players.

Eventually an admin shows up. My first thought was, yay, an admin! Because on War is Hell, admins are friendly. This one, however, turned out to be some sort of fascist dictator. The first thing he (or she) says is:

Console: no cussing or implying
Console: no cussing or implying
Console: no cussing or implying

And I was like, OK then... I can't even say "ass" when someone pwns me. One of the other players had the word "anal" in his player name.

The next thing up,

Console: Anal, change name please
Console: Anal, change name please

I thought this was a little too restrictive, so I made a comment (notice no cussing or implying):

And wouldn't you know, the console kicked me for stating my opinion.

We do not want to be like that ever. Swearing is ok as we understand that it is frustrating sometimes. Excessive swearing is a different story. Sorry you had a crappy time in that other server. If you ever have any problems with our players or administration, please let us know.

Swearing at other players is also frowned upon and is a kickable/bannable offense.

We're all gamers as well. So we know what it is like to get frustrated with moronic rules that only end up hurting the server. Usually, if you have to ask if it's ok, it isn't. For the most part, we are really laid back and let a lot slide. But once comments/actions start to ruin other peoples fun, we step in. In the end, it's all about the most enjoyable experience for you guys...'cause we love ya. You little team flashers you!

When do you guys normally play on the custom server? I'd like to get a game going over there, but I can't seem to get any more than 3 people at a given time.

Maybe we can set a time and get a bunch of the regulars on it. :dunno:

I got banned from the GOON server because admin asked what map we would like and I answered "This one is fine" :dunno:

I fell in love with this server when I kept getting owned by this one player on the other team that NEVER missed. Played 3 rounds and he got banned. First server I've played that actually bans cheaters, Love it. Turns out he had an aimbot and wall hack. :jerkit:
