I downloaded the teamspeak client. I can't seem to connect, I get bad login/password error. I'm supposed to use the same login and password that I use for the WiH website, right? Or do I register separately?

I'm playing around in the settings right now. When I try the "local test" under sound settings I hear myself all garbled up. Anyone else have this problem?

Make sure you are using the Speex 16.3 Kbit codec when you're doing your local test. In addition, try using DirectSound instead of Wave. Those options are in Settings -> Options.
Finally, do you have a webcam with built-in mic? I have one and it makes everything all garbled until I unplug the webcam from the USB port.

I have been using DirectSound. No webcam. I think it the problem lied in the Direct Sound buffer size. I changed it from med. quality to high and it seems to be working better now.
So, when I'm playing, am I supposed to switch into different channels (ie. CT or T) depending on my team? If so, how do I do this from inside CS:S?
Thanks.

Nah. We normally just hang out in the same channel. If there were a bunch of players on, then we would probably use the CT and T subchannels.

If you really want, you can bind keys to switch TS channels. But like Groovy said, we all hang out in the main channel right now. With that said, sometimes even if we're on different teams, we try not to use the info heard on TS to our advantage.
