time killers

I work all night and only have the internet and a radio to get me by for my 13hr shifts. Anyone have a good web site or two to kill a LOT of time??

No idea what can hold you for that much time. My only suggestion is maybe getting an account at somethingawful.com and reading the forums. There are usually a ton of good threads to read through.

Find an online club for something you enjoy. I just started a very, very lengthy restoration for an old car that's been in my family since 1963- some of the online boards are REALLY hopping and would provide a couple hours of reading a night almost!

13hr shifts!?!? Get yourself one of those new hand held Nintendos or Playstations. At least the PSP can play movies. You'd be able to play new games and watch movies..or as suggested above get a rom. Depending on what games you play you could connect with a friend and play a multiplayer game if you get bored of single player. I've played Mario Kart and other such games on my emulator.

Ahem. Personally i'd bring a good book, but that's just me. I love to read.

i just look at a computer screen all night and wait for some thing to happen (nothing normally does)
