I don't know about you guys, but I was underwhelmed when I played this last time. Maybe the fact of waiting 2 years for it and the endless updates hyped it up so much in my mind that the real thing is a let down. Maybe I need to play on a full server or something.

It's actually a pretty kick ass mod once you get used to all the weapons and effects and how things work. Also playing a decent populated server really helps. I enjoyed my time with FH2 and played it a whole lot until I caught the PR 0.7 fever and now I can't stop playing PR to go back to FH2.

I too was really excited about this, but there was something that I didn't like about it out of the gates, so I didn't bother going back to it :(

..which makes sense with the next theatre being normandy, '44.

besides the nice detailing, the most intersting thing is they have modelled the british landing craft. in FH '42, all allies used the same US landing craft.

it does look good. yeah, i like fh2, i try to get a game in at least one night a month. their normandy content is looking great, cant wait. i never get tired of omaha beach action...
