This may seem like a selfish question but my curiosity, made me ask...
What is the difference between a senior member and a member?
And I'm not looking for the answer that is "the difference is one is a senior."
Thank you for the help.

Its based on the number of posts that you make. More posts usually means old fart behind the keyboard, but I think we have some that post here which prove to be exceptions to the rule.

Since this follows the thread title:
What is the reputation thing?
I think when someone rates a thread that you started (or maybe you only have to be in the therad) it gets added to your reputation.
If you look next to each persons name, there should be a scale. If you click on it you will give them rep. What this is for, I'm not sure. On other forums it's used to judge the quality of a persons post, so you know who you can trust to make decent posts(i.e. NOT GRIM).

Rating threads doesn't affect anyone but the thread itself.
