One type if skin we would like to see is something in a military camoflauge. We're not limiting it to that but it's something we would like to look at.

Not really a skin recommendation but I am not sure if you are looking at doing any portal type of integration or not but if so, I would recommend vbadvanced as it is much more integrated and alot easier to use than something like vbportal. I have alot of years of experience using both products and simply think vbadvanced is a more rounded solution.

Again if I can be of any assistance at all, dont hesitate to ask, I am not looking for any special privileges, access, or treatment. I am simply offering my services of help if you need or want it.

Glad to see things are somewhat back to normal now.. I was going crazy trying to figure out what to do while I am running stability tests on my new gaming rig..

We did this bc in order for threaded post listing, the software needs to know which post the "quick reply" is being replied to. Without the click, it doesn't know how to thread it. after a week or two, if there isn't a need or use for it, I'll change it so that it won't require a clik.

Not sure how to do this. I think it is embedded in the forum style.

I was working at getting an arcade for the old forums before it was hacked. Once things have stabilized, I'll work at getting an arcade for us.

We are definitely going to set up a front end for this forum once it stabilizes a bit.

There is a 'hack' that allows the user info to be displayed at the side, much like here: http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/index.php

That'd be my only suggestion so far. vBulletin is far better than PHPbb, IMHO.

Sorry if this issue has already been brought up, but i think there ought to be links on the bottom of each topic's page to go back to the main forum page or back to the subforum that the topic you're viewing is in.
There is a "back to the top" button, but each time i post something i always find myself looking for those links only to have to go back to the tp of the page to find em.

I have a 99% completed Team speak Block for VBACMPS and also 2 versions of a server status block (One that uses SQuery and the other uses Game-Monitor)

Suggestions:

Add a skin/template that constricts the main body to 800 pix so it doesn't stretch all the way across the screen. I suggested that because most posts aren't that long anyway and it looks nice to push it together a bit instead of dragging it across the screen. That would most uberest imo. :)

Remove Reputation... I was in another community (dndonlinegames.com) where it was used and it tends to lead to nasty reputation wars between people or groups of people. Since it tags your name (in the user CP) when you give someone positive or negative reputation, people get pissed and start handing out their max amount of reputation per day to each other until they're both (all) in the negative. It loses it's charm pretty quickly at that point.

AFAIK, I've set it up so that you cant see who left you reputation. If you can see that, then let me know. So people only know the rep score, but they don't know who rated them, unless the reviewer publicly post.

Good point, (my bad) I didn't know that could be disabled. It makes a bit more sense with it set like that. If there is an autoban though then it would make ganging up on people pretty easy; especially against people who come to the forums ask why they've been banned.

I wouldn't worry about it. I might just not have it enabled. Scroll down, in the bottom left corner you can change the skin to Tigra. See how you like it.

I thought i'd suggest moving the clan zone to the bottom the forums page since most of us cant access them. Or maybe just having the link that takes you to the subforum.

Its just a small suggestion but over the space of a year it would save me a lot of scrolling due to my low screen resolution.

I've also seen some websites where the clan forums are only visible to the members.

Is just seem like the forum index is a lot longer than it used to be.

I think by default it won't let you search for words 3 letters or shorter. It's a huge system drain when it indexes these words.

In each forum, there is a Forum Tools pull down. In there is a Mark Forum Read that will only mark that forum read.
