I just don't understand how people can watch activities like sports and games, and really enjoy it. I play maybe once every 2-3 months, but I couldn't stand watching it on tv. To answer the question at hand, no.

Different strokes for different folks.

Edit:

If you like paintball...

D-Day Invasion! You guys would absolutely have to go to that. I live about 10 minutes from that, we always play there. A new place just opened in my city(Underground Paintball), right now I believe it's one of the Top 10 paintball parks in the nation, and supposed to be one of Top 3 when the final fields are built. Come out, give me a holler if you guys really come, I'll show you the area and... you won't be alone  .

i went two summers ago, last summer i made it to the ok machine gun shoot @ the same place. stayed in neosho. the okdday event is pretty insane. i played 21st panzer division, in an at unit. had bazookas. was great. am going to the mg shoot again this year and hopefully back to dday next year.

Brokeback Mountain aside...and back on topic, ESPN did a decent job of filming the tournament, but they should incorporate more overhead shots as they show shooting lanes and can map out strategies clearly. Nonetheless, it's a decent start...better than what OLN usually puts out for paintball coverage.

ya dude OLN was horrible.

the NPPL is also about to put out a 24/7 paintball channel, freakin awsome.

The D-Day thing is tight and all, but thats scenario paintball. Not that I dont like it, ive done afew 24 hour games myself, but I love the fast paced turny games.

I am glad though that paintball is getting the recognition it deserves. Im happy to say its a boneified sport now, not a hobby or "extreme sport", which it is. Im not sure what the qualifications are for something to become a sport, but its something like 4 million in revenue and a large amount of players blah blah blah.

mabey next year ill be playing that world cup, but thats a years away.
