im sick of people that are stat whores...ones that wont try to get the bomb when its gonna blow and run when they can possibly get it...yea ive run b4 myself but it wasl ike me on 10...so obv im not gonna try but like when its 1 on 2 and people run thats so b*tch...anyway yea im playin this morning and its like 3 on 3 and i keep sayin pistols and we got idiots runnin aorund wit m4's...bc they wanna keep their 2:1 ratio.....aka bosnia...i think hes scared to go at me wit a pistol...i dunno bc he didnt seem to want to play by the rules so he must be scared of something...watever its about havin fun and some people ruin it bc stats are awesome to them...dumbasses...anyway im jus pissed bc im tryin to have fun when its like 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 and have knife rounds and pistol rounds and every1 but this jerk is runin around wit pistols and hes gotta m4 every1 up....thats jus not fun when its 6 people on the server and ur goin around wit auto's....i duno maybe its me but thats pretty f*ckin lame and boring to me....maybe im jus different and i like havin fun since im not gonna like get a job and make money bc i can play counterstrike good and be an ass and m4 3 guys runnin at me wit knives...

I feel ya z3...i know he is going to say that someone m4ed him first, but he was running around with a tmp the whole time you were talking about pistols, then crying when someone hit him with an m4. What a little bitch, can't play for fun, has to worry about his stats. The only reason I m4ed him was because someone shot at me with an ak...and I saw him shotting at people with a tmp, which is essentially the same as a m4 b/c it is an automatic. He seemed to always be hitting me right on even if he was 100 yards away almost like he always knew where i was...seems a little fishy to me, possibly something to keep an eye on.

I know all too well what you're speaking of, but you have to come to the conclusion that it's inevitable. You'll find people like this on every server you play on long enough. Consider it a side-effect, I suppose. In the situation you were in, yeah, it's a pretty shitty thing to do but they have just as much right to play the game how they want as you do. I remember having 3 on 3 matches early in the morning on the server and people wanted to knife or pistol only, and I complied. It wasn't a big deal to me, so I agree with you that someone exploiting a situation like that can be frustrating. Simply voicing your opinion that you don't want to, or just leave would have been a better option instead of out-gunning everyone.

I see it every once in a while on the server. Like you said, people won't go after the bomb when they could have potentially won the match. Sometimes people will switch to the winning team, or if they're on the losing team they will leave and come back during the next map. If anything, that's the one that bothers me. It's poor sportsmanship and really illustrates what kind of player you are more than you think. Actions speak louder than words. I say let them go right ahead. No skin off my nose.

I don't see this thread being very productive and I don't think it's appropriate to come here and rip another player on the server b/c they didn't want to play knives/pistols only with you.

Like Xine said, within the confines of the rules, we all have a right to play the game we want to...

I vote that this thread is removed, before it degrades further.

I think (ALL) full of it. This is a game. Also you have to remember that commiting suicide doesn't help anyone out. At least if you save yourself thats one more person on your team with a good gun and some money. There is a lot of strategy to this game and if that includes saving up money to possibly turn the tides of the game then so be it. :jerkit:

Oh yea. If it is maybe 1-3 there might be a chance of diffusing the bomb, but you gotta be for real. It takes too much time to hunt and kill anymore than that. You get 1 or 2 then die because you couldn't diffuse the bomb. Then your broke and dead all at the same time. I think most peeps know there limitations and do a prety good job to the best of their abilities. :crazy:

always carry a HE nade, that way if it comes down to you and x number of enemies, you can do the intelligent thing and not give your death point to someone else....that way, you can always take the easy way out :D

I am sometimes a stat whore. There I said it, flame away. But seriously, now that Valve has fixed the bomb death, I dont mind being blown up.
(it used to subtract a kill and add a death for being C4'ed, now it doesnt add or subtract anything) People should know this and consider it, charging in at the last second can get you some suprise kills against the guarding T's. Fear not the Bomb!
Most important thing, play for fun, but not at others expense.
Those mygot ***hats have loads of fun ruining it for everyone, and I certainly don't condone that.

GOOD POINT I noticed that the other day that the bomb deaths have been fixed. No more T's running away from an immenent explosion, but you know what I still finding myself trying to get away.............habit I guess.

k... first off, i don't think the thread is in poor taste. IMHO... forums are here for us to speak our minds... but within reason. one thing i DO NOT WANT TO SEE are accusations about other players. if you have beef or suspect a player, post it in the proper forum (Complaints) or PM one of the admin.

that being said, there's no reason someone can't vent their frustrations here... so long as they expect that they may get a rebuttal.

Well, First off, Don't call anyone a little bitch when you go to the forums and make a rant about it. Second off, I was running with a USP through mid dust2 and turned into the double doors into your m4. This is when I decided that I would play pistols. After that, I see that nobody was abiding to these "rules", so nobody was playing pistols anymore...

As for being a stat whore, I don't camp and not try to defuse, my stats show that. Being good and camping with a scout on T side of Dust are two different things... If you want to flame, send me a PM, don't whine about it in public...

Just because one person or even more want to play a certain way does not mean everybody wants to play your way so please quit or don't gripe. I know that I personally would do it if everybody agreed. Otherwise grab a rifle and start hunting. :sniper:

Oh yea, I wasn't there, so if there was an agreement to go :fechtduell: then whoever broke out a gun is a loser, otherwise just stop complaining.
