I down loaded DC and played it today and i thought it was cool. It felt like who ever made DC should be getting some if not all the profit from BF2. So far it looks the most like it as far as the kits go.
There's a lot of people still playing it, unlike the other mods we've played so far.

i didnt hear about the shaft, but i remember them announcing that the dc team was working with dice on the next bf. i didnt hear anything after that. but, i consider dc to be the bf2 prototype.

yeah, i was playing it yesterday and it was funny to see all the pirate names people chose. mine is "Aye aye, One Eye" at the moment.

edit: and p.s. perse, you should get bf2 just so you can play all of the mods that come out. Bf2 is going to have pirates, poe, eod, etc, etc.

i dont really know where to post this, but i wont be playing dcf this friday night. ihave some friends that will be playing ef for the first time that night and i want be there. so i will be on #2 admining.

i am still going to install it, maybe i will catch some of you tomorrow night on some dcf, if the server has been changed over.

I wana play pirates next. i just want to experience a huge ship battle, it seems like it would be so much fun. not to mention some nice ctf action without all the new fangled automatic guns to worry about.
