POE in Game Names!!!

Give me your ingame names if you don't mind. I am going to put together a little colored buddy list for who ever wants it, I just need your exact in name games.

Ok folks, here you go. A three step process.

1. download my buddy list file (snake, if you would I ftp'ed it up :D ) and place it in your:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\Profiles\drayu

2. Start up a game of poe, and run around for all of 30 seconds, then exit

3. Copy the file once again in this location:

C:\Documents and Settings\Drayu\My Documents\Battlefield Vietnam\mods\BFVIETNAM\Settings\Profiles\drayu


Now, you have a buddy list. Feel free to edit the colors as you see fit. Just remember to uncheck read-only for the file before you edit it, then do your editing, save and make it read-only again. Then, you have to copy the new file to both locations again. And you should be good.

same here. i dont have that folder and it worked the first time i loaded the game up.

Ok,

You are correct SnaKe, initially you don't have that folder. But when you put a read-only file in the EA games folder and then start a game it creates a new folder in your My Documents called BF vietnam.

Why do you have to do this? BF overwrites this file on a whim if you have different versions, so it is good practice (and will make sure they don't get overwritten) to have the same version in both locations.

i just noticed, i am papasan.9 in game for all games. this site would not allow me to insert the . so im papasan9 on forums.
