I just wanted to make a separate post... grab your green beer, grab your mouse, and lets play POE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I figure around 9PM EST, or that is when I plan on getting on!!! We will have to do another one for WIHAdmin next week as well! Prepare to face me and my Apache!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with Timberwolf as my CoPilot meh... or if I have to Drayu... :jester:
I shall be there, baring any tornados. :thumbsup:

Too bad no one plays POE on a regular basis, because i think i enjoyed it more than bf2.
The single most notable way in which POE is better than BF2 is the sound effects. POE has some (excuse my psuedo cussing, but) FREAKING awesome sound effects like the abrams' secondary fire :jerkit: ahhhhh yeah!

you got that right, i was doing a familiarization play the other night and man, i just couldnt believe how awesome the sounds were. everything sounds so mean. .50 actually sounds scary. i was trying to explain this aspect to some friends in talking them into playing tonight. the sounds are very freakin impressivo

Yeah no kidding about the sounds! I can actually here people creeping up on me! The only bad thing is you can't hear jack if you use a nose cam view in teh chopper/plane!
But, yeah...I am enjoying it thouroughly! I am now tweaking it for better performance!
Don't forget to unlock all the refresh rates!!!! I will let you know how it goes with updating the creative aopen.dll :D

I did that for BFV, do you have to do it specifically for POE as well?

I was Persephone's personal chaufer on Darfur. It was fun to shoot and scoot.
Playing POE brings back a lot of good memories when we used to host our popular War is Hell POE server.

Haha I had a lot of fun tonight. Papasan, that shoot out we had one whatever the hell map that was, was funny as hell. We had quite a few good 1vs1 on some maps.
wihadmin..what can I say? Best driver in town. If i'm ever in your area i'll definately hire you over a taxi driver :D.
It was hella fun playing with you all. I wish I had played BFV/POE w/e back when you had your server up. I remember seeing it around but always being too busy on your CS server to play. And you know I just recently remembered you guys used to have not one but TWO CS servers? FF On and FF Off? Wow.
All this brings back memories to my first days at WiH!! I love you guys. Let's play BFV sometime though. I love BFV. Not only do the jeeps have music but the one lvl where the chick is like "G.Is! They do not care for you! G.I the sky will rain fire tonight! G.I!" on the loud speaker used to be my favorite.
Looking forward to next time we all play!

It was fun the little that I could play. I just couldn't keep going with all those connection problems! Every minute or so I would lock up with a connection prob....and I did the usual cycle the power on the router and modem already :(

drayu, i was having the problem with no nose sound, so i started messing with ingame sound settings. and i think it was something like i turned off "hardware acceleration" under sound and cranked it up to 64 channel. anyway, after turning hardware something off(or on) i got nose sounds back.
