View Full Version : Mozzila/Firefox browser is incompatible with this site

I quote myself in saying that as a webmster I can feel our beloved admin's pain. Always more to do than can possibly be done, and always someone whining about something else.

But, I deal with it ok, so I'm fixin to complain that my Mozilla browser does not function AT ALL with this site. Perhaps I shoulda put this in the complaints forum, but I'm leaving that to the "Why am I banned" guys.

I'm not officially complaining, this is more of a rant.

(Spell that w.h.i.n.e.)

Any chance you guys plan on fixing that? Mozilla is becoming very popular, and I must say I have virtually abandoned windows.

It doesn't work for me when I have Norton Firewall on, turn it off and it works fine. Still can't figure out why though.

Works for me too.

Might try uninstalling, and then reinstalling firefox. :dunno:

You get the site to work without having to disable Norton Firewall? I can see the site, but if I go into the forums then I get some crazy stuff about the header, and I can't see new posts.....odd stuff.

Turn off your script scanning in Norton and see if that fixes it.

My opinion.... DITCH NORTON!

I use AVG free edition...for 3 years now and never a problem!

Yeah it's definitely a firewall problem. For the longest time I was unable to login to the site, view the forums, view my stats and it was because of my firewall. It was honestly the last thing I thought to check. I tried all kinds of different browsers, then finally I turned off the firewall and it worked.
