Its coming tomorrow (Fri 3/10). (According to several sources that are usually pretty accurate.)
But I will not hold my breath :jerkit:

I'm looking forward to 1.21 only because it will fix my battle recorder playback

Umm.. You realize removing that was a feature of the 1.2 patch? Why would they bring it back? I REALLY doubt that will be part of the new patch.. Sorry man.

Although who knows? Maybe there will be a bug in 1.21 that lets you do that again.

Not sure about the accuracy of this list, but here is what *supposedly* will be changed:

* Fixed the Hmmwv with TOW crash on Battlefield 2: Special Forces maps
* Fixed the Battle Recorder crash
* Fixed the screen capture
* Fixed the issue with Pixel Shader 1.4 video cards
* Fixed the issue that caused heat seeking missiles to stick to oil towers
* Fixed the issue that caused heat seaking missiles to ziz-zag
* Reduced the maximum number of claymores that can be dropped to 2
* Fixed the Server Browser filter to enable search by map name
* Fixed the error in Client-Server communication causing sound, animation and other sync issues.

The powers great but the accuracy is unbelievable. sometimes im getting sniped with that pkm before i can blow there head off.

ya totally, its overpowered i admit it, but i still use it thats all

they def need to allow the thowing of C4, you can throw a grenade a mile now, yet u cant throw a thing almost the same size 2 yards?
they need to fix the range of grenades, and allow C4 throwing

Yea well you guys talk about the PKM being bad the SAW is the same way, Example. Its karkand i,m sitting on the road above the train accident this guy is practicly on the otherside of the bridge, i put two bursts out, guy drops. Its like wtf just happened.

With the missle updates, do they include making the missles just that much less accurate, or are they gonna keep it as if you keep your lock on the plane, you know your gonna hit it

WCyou have to remember, the M249 is basically an assualt rifle, as well the 5.56 it fires generates little recoil compared to the super heavy PKM which fires a russian 7.62x54R(the same round the SVD fires) with a hell of allot of kick. in comparison it's the diffrence between an M4 and an M24 in terms of accuracy diffrence.

you have to remember, the PKM is an ACTUAL MG whereas the RPK74/M249/Type95/MG36 are built around the squad assualt weapon concept and usually built off an assualt rifle or are no bigger then one.

Basically, assault rifles with 100+ round drums. M249 is belt-feed, but if I remember correctly, in can also except clips.

throwing of c4? I can take it or leave it... though I did enjoy tossing c4 over the wall onto a tank or APC on Karkland... the super stealth KABLAMMO!

but

EA should have allowed throwing of supplies and med packs... how else can we supply those snipers on short rooftops, or troops on the other side of walls? Seems like it should have been fine.. but sheesh...

Basically EA fixed a few problems with their shoddy AA system and fixed a few graphical problems.

You can't jump and throw but you shouldn't need too, they get some distance now by just by tossing


1.21 is fixing a lot of things that I couldn't stand so i'm happy..
