I need some help guys and not to offend you computer geeks lol im one but i figured id come to yall. Well a few days ago after downloading some drivers for my video card i was running adware, spybot, nortons and defrag thing. well one of them got done and wanted me to restart my computer so i did. when i got back on everything was oversized. the icons are bigger than normal, the internet is bigger than normal and ect.. well i was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and could help me get everything back the normal size.
PS when i click the counter-strike icon it comes up with an "engine error" that reads" unable to init shader system"

Go to the radion website and see if they have forums on this subject. I would also go and redownload and install the update after cheaking to see the forums. Also go to the steam forums to see if they know of a problem with that driver and steam. That is a popular card and maybe that update has some effect on steam. I would also post this subject on both there forums also. Just do some reserch to see if there are any known problems and if not try installing the drivers again. This will atleast narrow the problem down to yourself if there arent any know problems with the drivers.

actually it sounds like your ati drivers are not loading at all and you're using the default windows drivers ~suc, cough~... i would uninstall them and reinstall... see if it happens again.

That is what I said, just go to the forums first to see if there are any known problems with the drivers.

Try uninstalling your video  card and get the correct drivers for it next time! Or you can roll back drivers to previos version, then find the correct updated drivers for you OS and video card, becuase if you had the right drivers their shouldn't be a problem(unless your download or installation had a corruption).
Sometimes when you install or especially when you download, the whole file doesn't(or should I say packets) don't all get copied to your system. Then your video card=D.
Good luck. :D
Oh yea, if you go to your device manager and find your video card, then double click on it, then click driver tab, from there you should be able to check driver version, update drivers, roll back drivers and uninstall drivers. The device manager is in the control pannel under performance and maintenance if you have XP. Just click on system then hardware. Then device manager then open the display adapter then click on your video card then click driver tab. I don't remember what it is under on 95 or 98. You'll find it if you go to control pannel though. :yaya:

Pills, just go to Radeons web site and their should be an automated deal that you just click your card and OS type and it should take you to the primary download site and/or mirror sites. It should be Pillsbury Doughboy proof.
Dont get the new 5.3 drivers I would suggest the 5.1's or the omega drivers based off the ATI 5.1.
