One day at the firing range in Oregon we came across this target called tannerite. We were having a good time at the range then all of a sudden we heard the huge explosion we thought my buddy blew up his thompson but behold this old guy at the other end is laughing at us as we are running around to make sure our friend was okay. He looks at us and says nope that was tannerite. Tannerite is a binary exploding target. http://www.tannerite.com/. Need less to say we went out and bought a two cases worth of the 1/2 lb target you can also get the 1 lb targets. The website has a really cool video on it watch it if you have a few.

The best thing about this stuff is only high power rifles will set it off and it's legal well atleast in Oregon.

It's great for long range rifle practice you can see if you definetly hit the target or relocated christmas lawn oranments, railroad ties, TV's or anything elso you need to relocate or recycle.

I should be going to the range this weekend so I should have some picutres and video to show off because I have some items to recycle and relocate.

I know this isnt exactly on topic but I have to say it.

I have waited so long for another gamer from Oregon, I didnt think any others existed but me and the other kanos. Welcome to WIH.

Price for a case is $89 for either 20 1/2lb targets or 10 1lb targets
side note if you place targets with in a foot of each other you can cause a chain reaction.
Price for 2 cases $160
Shipping I think was $10 a case and is sent by ground either fedex or ups.

The website explains why it's legal read it before ordering.

It's sort of spendy but alot of fun

know what, i would enjoy that too much.

but it would be funny to use an old rifle shooting extended ranges, definately know if you have hit your target :D
