Roger that *******. Especially if you've had a few cocktails too. But you do need a hefty PC for it with this ver of BF.

Only problem with playing some tunes in the background would be it interfering with TS and VoIP. I might try it this weekend. The question is Black Sabbath or Alanis Morissette.

I play MP3's on one of my other computers while I game...

My personal favorites are Lost Prophets, 30 Seconds to Mars, and old (read: good) SOAD.

I set up a playlist just for BF2 a few weeks ago. I havent had many performance issues but there are a few quirks that happen. Some wierd/annoying beeps will start up every now and then (Really loud). It doesn't happen often though. Haven't been able figure out what causes it exactly either. It doesn't cause a real hit to the performance though. I'm thinking it's because I use a seperate sound card. I never liked onboard sound.

White Zombie, The Donnas, Chemical Brothers, Juno Reactor are just some of the bands on the playlist.

I just have to make sure the volume is balanced enough so I can hear BF2 and the music. I like having music going, but I tend to get knife killed more.

You all have to agree but nothing beats the ride of the valkyrie while flying in the helicopters. Yes its classical and by Wagner but it kicks ass.

For of those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about play BFVietnam or watch Apocalypse Now Redux not the orginal but Redux.

Would have been nifty if BF2 incorperated (an improved version) BFV's built in music playing abilities. Just provide the option to have it pause or mute when voip is actively being used by yourself, those in your squad, or the commander.

I'd like to listen to music, but if I listen to music I can't hear all your footsteps and if I can't hear all your footsteps how can I shoot you in the back?

Yeah, I usually don't listen to music, but when I do it's either some industrial stuff or some punk stuff. Other times I listen to that ambient and experimental music. Yep, goes real well with all the freaky funny stuff that happens in battlefield.

but I dont use that infernal itunes garbage that installs all thsi crap to my system (like QT7, and DRM shit)

I just use vlc, or when I really like to use the keyboard shotcuts to skip tracks, I use WMP10.

I used to do it, but i found it distracting. I lvoe listening to the gunfire, the cries of those u kill, the sound of a tank rolling in and knowing your about to be wasted. You lose this with tunes goin

I listen to metal when I'm playing armor(mostly In flames, mastadon, behemoth, zyklon, etc). Otherwise I dont listen to music because it distracts me from teamspeak or voip if I'm squadding
