A few have brought up to my attention that more than a few players thought that our TeamSpeak server is for admin use only. That is not true.

It is ok for anyone playing on our game servers to use our TS server while you're playing games online. That's why we have different channels there for you to go into. Grab your buddies and go into those rooms and talk to each other during the game.

The only channel that we ask you not idle in is the Admin channel. You can go into the Admin channel when you need to get an admin's attention. You can sit there while you're talking to the admin about whatever the issue is at hand. Once done, you should go back to the game channel.

Otherwise, please do get online in TS and talk to the other players. They won't bite and most of the time, you'll make some new friends. In addition, it allows my admins to get to know you as a player and as a person.

When i first started on the servers i hung out there quite often, but its kind of pointless since we have to use push button. Then i have commander V, Squad B and TS button to used cuz usually not everyone has it or is on it. Also, i heard there was some kind of error it could cause.

I will start sitting in there once again when playing though, hopefully others will do the same.

6 man squads are too small. TS beats the 6 man program. make 2 squads into 1 elite unit and Slay all in your path under the orders of 1 good leader. Then march on to ViCTORY. TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!!!!!

Yeah, it was not bad. We normally hang out on our own TS, but using the WiH will maybe get me to know the community a little better. We can defiently get a bit sidetracked in the conversations. It can also be fun making fun of the n00bs you are squading with, that is untill they get into the TS with you :D

You guys are all welcome come in and make fun of me when I fly a jet into palm trees. Not sure why Dice thought they needed them, then again maybe I should learn to fly higher then 6 feet off the deck.

I'd use it, but it seems lately that my computer lags like no ones business when I do use it. Works fine as long as I don't run any games.

:dunno:

My problem, and one that I've noticed several players have had... TS causes BF2 to malfunction and randomly shut down. Since I stopped using TS, I haven't had this problem, but it occurs often when I have TS going while playing.

Yes that is a problem I have heard of and experienced as well. Though I am a starving college student who could only afford 512 RAM :(

i was going to comment...that after new video card and ram injection, i have stopped having any form of lag or random disconnections. i think the game is just a hardware hog.

in any case, yeah, if you were on last night, sorry for all the random discussions. i kept forgetting we werent on our own ts server.

Yup RAM will be an issue for you if you are running TS and BF2.

I always use TS, because i find the quality far better than the standered BF2
VOIP. ANd it's always fun saying something in squad when you meant TS or vice versa.

People think your mad speaking to someone not in your squad who is not there.

I've used TS and BF the last few days and I've had no problems... hopefully I can keep up the good luck. I don't have any kind of memory problems, just TS bugged out and crashes, but maybe it's getting better, or performs better with the new patches... I dunno. Well, I'll be on more again!

I have not had any issues with TS, but I am running 2GB of RAM. The only problem I get is I split my talking on in game voice and TS. I get lost really quick and sometimes I am probably responding to a squadie in TS when he is not there.

But TS is great for mutiple squad teamwork, and I think everyone should jump in. I normally try to stay in the TS channel for the team/server I am on.
