Sick of late night TKs

Tonight i was kicked because idiots like vorhammer see fit to crash the blackhawk into the cobra on purpose from the carrier.Several good players were kicked because of this foolishness over vehicles.This makes for an all around shitty game and im sick of it :thumbsdown: I love this server and the guys who play here but this madness has got to stop if the
server is to stay full from 4 - 7 am est. Im sure others have seen it too,if there is anything we can do to put a stop to this it will make a better games for all.

Thank you for the heads up *******. I totally understand your frustration with people like that, and we are working on taking care of it. What do you suggest we do with people like that? What course of action would you recommend? Any ideas you can offer are always beneficial to us!

I will try to be on later as well, but I have been out for more than a week b/c of self-imposed computer probs and a coaches clinic in baltimore.

I have this problem on many days, because it´s almost always late night in america when I play. But I just dont care about the idiots anymore.
I teamkill someone because he´s standing in front of my plane - Its his fault, I have my plane and hes angry.
Someone is teamkilling me - just do it once or twice more and you´ll get autokicked.
And even if I get kicked - no problem, 20 minutes more time for eating or reading or whatever.

I also dont report the idiots anymore, because I know that i will never see them on the server again.

So I have no problem when there are no admins on. i know that they do a great job when they are on and I do understand that they dont want to stay awake the whole night through only to kick some asshats.

I've said this for the past 4 months. I simply think we need a moderator present. Four months and things have only gotten worse, not better.

Its made me stop playing on WiH when I have a late night session. When I do chance coming late night, I almost always end up timebanned for stupid greifers, as do Hrundi and *******, which are constantly in the same squad as me when this happens.

I am happy to see someone other than myself bring this up, and I look foreward to either participating or observing the following discussion.

Its a tough situation and given that you guys cant be one 24/7 its probably not going to change.
Even having a single admin on at night would leave him ready to tear his hair out with all the crap that goes on, too much for one guy.
Hell, first thing this morning I join the server on wake, a guy jumps into the AA, kills a bunch on the carrier and knocks down the BH before the auto kick booted him....and thats just one ass, now factor in the rest.
Maybe picking up a couple of admins in a suitable timezone is your only solution, short of you guys taking the night shift.

What I usually see worse than TKing late at night is all the garbage talking on the screen from enemies back and forth. I'm thinking "This A$$HOLE on my team is typing more than fighting." Usually I just ask them to watch their language or to calm down and they do... I saw Green Tree have to do the same thing last night. Just my .02 :dunno: I hate the shouting matches.

Shouting matches are easily ignorable....especially if you ahve a squad and you VOIP.

You cannot avoid 3 people lying under the front wheel of a jet, or running infront of your tank, or running fill spring towards genades.... or any array of stupid things, diving a blackhawk, etc



What I'm saying is , Satanic, I think you are missing the point that people are upset about. Yes shouting matches are stupid and spammy, but it doesent interfere with my fun or gameplay even REMOTELY as close and intenional greifers/tkers.

Haha well maybe its just a pet peeve of mine. But I guess what I was really getting at is another reason that Admins are needed.

Also, maybe I've just been unlucky, but sometimes I'll sign on during mid-morning (East coast time) and there is never an Admin available if I need a spot or whatnot. Though many times Snake will be on TS but in the "Away" channel. Idk maybe I just caught him on a bathroom break every time... :poke2:

We are adding more admins as we speak. But realize that a lot of the admins are in the working force. They're actually at their jobs during the day. So that's why they're not on. This is a game after all.

My advice to those who plays when there are no admins on is to change your normal play style. If you know that there are a lot of tk'ers by the jets, then take an armor piece and go destroy. Don't go by the jets. The overwhelming majority of complaints we get are from jet-jockeys. We've been keeping track.

A real world example. If there's a fire near the road that you drive every day for fun and firefighters aren't around. Do you continue to drive that road and get burned every time? Or do you drive a different road? I'll bet that you'll drive a different road until the fires have been put out. Or at least until the firefighters have the fires under control.

Same concept. If there are tk'ers and griefers by the planes. Stay away from them. Go play something else. We can't be on the servers 24/7.

Vounteer fire department, in small communities. Which are not paid, nor really thanked, do this job as well. WiH is a small community. Noone really expects you to "Hire" moderators, (and I use that word Specifically instead of Administrators). [WiHM/WiHA tags??oo!]

its cool to see so many responses. as far as i can see like wihadmin says
find another way around. i almost always have a ground squad, full i might add....and normally best squad , but even i like to switch it up
and should have that right without being kicked for retards to steal planes.
Im a dj so i can play almost whenever i want. i guess my way around wihadmins fire is to play at different times when there is more control over the game and less for me to become pissed off about.its a game it should be fun.....*******
