I saw Alien vs Predator .. and to tell the truth it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be..

The story line was interesting and the action was cool.. the ending was shit but all in all I was surprised at how decent the movie was..

PS... the ending leaves the door open for another movie!

I give it    /5

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Story picks up where last movie left off.. Decent story line, a little far fetched for my imagination, but again a decent movie.. kept me watching to see what happened next..

Last good movie I saw was on DVD a few days ago, which was 'The Manchurian Candidate'. It was a remake of an older film based on a book, but the older version is so old I don't feel left out that I didn't see it. This new version had all the right twists modern film has come to have, and that it was based on modern Presidential and military scenes is a lot better than it being based on the 60's style that was used in the early version of the movie.

All in all, a great film. Then again, I'm a sucker for conspiracy theories.

Last few movies I watched were:

Man on Fire- Denzel Washington, Dakoda Fanning

Hide and Seek- Robert DeNiro, Dakoda Fanning

Elektra- Jennifer Garner

Constantine- Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz

None of which were THAT good. Man on Fire, and Constantine were, imo, the better of the four flicks.

Let's see

Alladin

Lion King

Lion King 1 1/2

Lion King 2

Shark Tales

Finding Nemo

Cinderella

Bambi

All of them are pretty good. The FIRST time. :)

I would love to see a "real" movie, in a real theatre. With cuss words, sex, and violence. :jester:

You're one of those types... well I recently received all the showtimes for free(promotion), and got to see a couple movies, really like the Italian Job, and then watched this movie with Cuba Gooding Jr(Cruise SHip or something) I thought it was hilarious, my wife thought it was stupid(stupid funny) but I watched it , all I have to say is Swedish Sun tanning team

Edit: watched Hangman's Curse last night, was pretty good(thriller)

Man on Fire- Denzel Washington, Dakoda Fanning
I liked this one and have it on DVD. I've always like Denzel as an actor.

Elektra- Jennifer Garner
Constantine- Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz
Wanted to see these 2 but haven't had time yet. Maybe when they come out on DVDs.

I was going to Tivo that Cuba Gooding Jr. movie but I wimped out at the last minute thinking it's going to waste 90 minutes of my life. But now I wished I had just to see the bikini girls. :)

I just got done watching another movie a few hours ago that I haven't seen yet. Mystic River. Directed by Clint Eastwood. Stars- Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon and Tim Robbins. REALLY good movie. Watch it if you can.

And on a side note, watch this trailer for "Sin City" if you haven't already. Looks very nice.

That's an awesome movie, kept me on the edge of my seat, dying to know what was going to happen next.

I saw Constantine last week... a REALLY disjointed and confusing movie IMO, but some scenes were pretty cool. I'd say go see it, it's worth it at least once.

I also saw Training Day last week for the 6th time. If you haven't already seen it, I suggest u get ur ass to the video store ASAP.

And Vash, yeah Sin City looks very slick.. I saw the trailer a while ago.

As for a movie that's on DVD and I was blown away by recently: CITY OF GOD

Phenomenal movie. It's about young brazilian gang lords in Rio. Be prepared for a very gripping, gritty and real movie. I highly suggest that one.

Amazing film. I'm a sucker for twists it seems, because the plot in this one is rife with them. Plus that chick in it was insanely hot. :hump:

Yeah me too. I was actually surprised that I liked it. Most of the "horror" films that come out these days are nothing but drivel.

Has anyone seen 'The Village'? I don't think it's out on DVD yet, but for those who may have caught it in theaters. It's the last movie M. Night Shyamalan did so far. A lot of people I know didn't like it, and I can't seem to figure out why.

I know I didn't like it for the fact that he tried way too hard with a twist ending which, imo, falled flat on it's face. Plus it was just plain boring to me. Sixth Sense still remains his best film.

the movie would have been terrific if they just made it SCARY, i went to the theater expecting some weird scary stuff....then i find that the monsters were actually.....shhh, no spoilers, forgot

I rented a Korean War movie called Tae Guk Gi - Brotherhood of War. Excellent movie from Korea about the Korean war. It ranks right up there with Saving Private Ryan. Very strong theme of brotherhood. Subtitled. Available at your local Blockbuster.
