Devil's Slide, between Pacific and Half Moon Bay is about a thousand foot drop into rocks below with a wicked riptide. Needless to say, people going off the road, don't make it.

Worst thing about Devil's Slide is that after one accident. A guy swam out of his car and then went back under to get his wife and never resurfaced. The coast line here sucks. Really wicked undertows and cave that drag you in a drown you.
