We need to be in seperate channels for TeamSpeak because we always end up giving away our positions, or we think someone else is talking to us...yadda yadda yadda
Now, I know your arguements about wanting to talk to everyone, being able to talk trash, I know em all.
WELL, here is my solution, the best of both worlds. You can be in a sub channel and still talk to everyone in both channels by setting up a key that lets you. I have attached a picture that shows you what you have to do.
Global talk when in seperate channels
1) Go to Settings/Key Settings
2) Click add
3) Follow my picture below (I have mine set to the asterik key on the number pad, you can do what ever you like.)

If you want to be able to change channels without tabbing out of the game:
1) Go to Settings/Key Settings
2) Click add
3) Follow my picture below (I have mine set to the minus key on the number pad, you can do what ever you like.)

In CS:S I use the in-game chat to talk to my team, and TS to talk to everyone. I know this doesn't work for Phyx, but seems to work for me.
I just hate ALT-Tabing out to change channels. Takes FOREVER to get back in.

But you don't have to alt tab to talk to everyone, set up a key so you can. And really this is directed at POE players b/c there is no in game chat.

Just a note, be careful when you assign keys to scroll to next and previous channels. I have done this and more often then not, i tend to move from the top of the list to the bottom of the list and get a 5min time ban from ts for "spamming the server"

What I do prowler is use the number pad with shift keys. SO......shift + 7.....puts me in the BF2 channel......shift + 5......puts me in the admin channel....etc....

Thanks Drayu,
I've set similar key settings per your advice.,but I've noticed most folks on TS stay in same channel instead of , i.e., t or ct in cs. Whether or not they are on the same side.Hope this will help squads change some of that.

Can you unsticky this one or delete it, I have created a new one in the Tech Talk forum that is way more comprehensive.
