Does anyone use this program to record rounds in game? I'd like to be able to record some flying and chopper battles for later review. I have been to their site and also did a search on here to find out more information.
If anyone does use it, any helpful suggestions on start up would be appreciated.

I have mine working, but the game takes a big performance hit on my machine. Their latest update supposedly increase performance by 20%, I may have to get it and see what happens. You should try using the stock bf2recorder. PCgamer had a great article on how to use it.....trying to find it for you...if I do I will post it.
I also heard that if you had one of those dual-core procs that there's only a marginal performance hit. That'd be cool

I run it and it does take a little drop, but yes I think the dual core CPU's make a world of difference, my opinion though maybe try on single player mode that way if you rack up some killer stats and your PC crashes you really don't lose nothing, but that is just my opinion.

I have fraps and the performance hit was big on my AMD3200.I just upgraded to AMD 4000 and the frame rate is better.I'm runnig version 2.5.5 but I,m still not happy with it.

Make sure you have plenty of hard drive space for the capture. The files can get big. Might be a good idea to have Dr DivX handy as well to make the files smaller if you ever wanted to share them.

if people need things re-recorded(BF recorder to fraps), i have 200gb of free space on a secondary drive and a dual core.
