Does anyone beside me own the players guide. It is only fit for the new players and if you have played bf2 for more than 5 minutes don't buy it.

Second question: I will be getting a z-board soon and am wondering if it is worth the $70

The z-board is that silly ish that goes over your keyboard for BF2 just so than can charge you a assload.

I mean if you are new to PC gaming you may want it, but if ur use to W,A,S,D,caplock, shift, tab,c,r and whatever else, save your money. It is cool looking though, I seen one for Call of Duty that looked cool.

I am no noob when it comes to games. Been playing since Pong. I own a ZBoard and I really like it. I have played FPS on a standard keyboard for 10 years. I have been using my ZBoard with BF2 insert since day 1 and have heard from others that trying to switch to one later is really hard. My favorite feature is the butterfly keypad and all the mapped buttons. Downside would have to be the odd placement of alpha keys. No biggie though, I got used to those in a week too.

... I don't use any of that stuff, and I have never been able to stand using the W,S,D,A controls. I use the arrows and the buttons along the arrows(shift, control, enter, backslash, num 1 num 2, num 3) I honestly think I have a superior layout, and it's much easier to knwo what button your touching without looking.

i used to use the arrows as that is what all my other games defaulted to. Now i switched to the wasd and seriously i get like 5-15 points more per game since.

yeah i definately don't reccomended the players guide as it was made by the beta testers. They had no clue that people wouldn't do things such as move in squads. They waste pages of paper on how to move in squads that nobody uses
