Banned? (confused)

i was just playing on the server for a couple hours, i joined during dalian plant, played 2 rounds there, played 2 rounds of karkand, and then one of daqing oilfield... in the full 2.5 maps i had 1 teamkill (completely accidental in a tank battle) and i'm positive no others, i was in a squad trying the entire time, up until the first round of daqing, when i was in the bomber, trying to learn to bomb better (and surprisingly no tk's, although i did crash a few times)

after the round ended i went to get a drink, at a slice of pizza, i come back and it says the "you've been kicked by an admin or for tk blah blah"

so i was like wtf?! tried to join and i was in fact banned, yet i had one tk in 3 maps... is there something i should know about?

i didnt mouth off to anyone, i wasnt screwing around, worst thing i could have done was be afk for a few, but i shoudlnt have even spawned being afk.

You were banned for a name violation, the admin who banned you warned you 3 times and tried to get your attention, when you didn't answer he banned you b/c you ingame name didn't match the name that you signed up for in the [WiH] tag thread.

heh its alright, i was just kind of stumped as to what happenned, appreciate the fast response on the issue.

it was just weird because i know most of the admins know me, and i've been wearing the tag for over a month, that was the last thing i expected.

It happens, when we don't recognize someone with a tag, we refer to the [WiH] thread, and see. Unfortunately, your forum name is there, not your ingame name.

and as Drayu said....I banned you becasue Ac39 was given pemission to use the WiH tag not Ac5.B(whatever)

I figured it might be you but I didn't know...I also asked you 3 times "ingame" to identify what your forum name was...

You made the decision to ignore my request...so I banned you...

I'm willing to unban you...but for future referance...next time an admin asks you a question ... answering it is the appropriate action :D
