Wow i am so not the sharpest tool in the shed.

So i go to open a bottle of sparkling apple cider. you know the kind they sell around the holidays that looks like a wine bottle? well i cant find the thing to take the cap off so i decide to use a steak knife to wedge it off. i come back and im talking to people on AIM and sipping my drink when i realize i have a throbbing pain coming from my pointer finger on my left hand. i look down and i'm bleeding all over the place rofl.

i have like a crescent cut on the flesh of my finger and it only looks paper cut thing but its bleeding a lot so i get a band aid and slap it on but aahh it stings! that was so unsmart of me to use a knife for that.

This is what young adulthood is for, young Padawan. To do the remaining stupid things you didn't get done while you were a teen.

I once cut my finger while absentmindedly playing with a very sharp brand new pocket knife. I was on the phone with a service rep at the time and had to make an excuse and hang up very quickly, as the amount of blood was startling.

Hmm.. haven't cut myself with a knife in a long while, but I have cut myself on just about everything else recently (razors, engines, rifles, broken glass, etc)

Most impressive minor finger cut goes to my sister, though, who managed to cut herself with one of those restaurant-grade meat/cheese slicers.

My favorite was a friend of mine cut the tip of his finger (just a little of the finger nail and the tip) off with a paper slicer. dont worry though it seemed to heal back just fun.

the other day i couldnt find a boxcutter to cut a square hole in a box, so i used a pair of scissors. i held it wrong, and ended up cutting a minor nick in my finger. the cut was at just the wrong angle for a bandaid, and so i had to use 4 to secure it from bleeding all over the place.

ha! well i play oboe and bassoon and have to make my own reeds, using mostly RAZORBLADES and large KNIVES (i.e. http://www.nielsen-woodwinds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=Tools&cart_id=3606961.25325)

and i kill myself daily. like my hands are all coarse and everything......ow...

the worst feeling is running the wound thru water afterwards and getting it to tingle that way OWWOWOOWOWOWOWOWOW

Just the other day I shut my hand in my car door. That wasn't fun, especially cause I had to take a test and use my left hand to write.
