View Full Version : SF server maintenace tonite

Between the hours of 11P-4A CST tonite-Fri morning, the SF server might be going offline. What we're doing is a complete re-install of the server and initializing it with our BF2 configuration. So when it comes back online, you might see it as another BF2 server. Then tomorrow morning, I'll get on there to reconfigure it to SF. We will have the server back on SF for the Fri nite SF party.

We are hoping that this will reduce the crashes and if it does crash, does not prevent people from joining back in.

Yay -giggle- I haven't been having problems with the server like the other guys have, but hey if it helps improve the server... let's rock it!

HELP! something has gone horribly wrong. the server isnt ranked anymore. i know you guys are doing importants stuff like "working" or what ever, but i hope you can fix this soon.

now that i think about it, im really happy the server isnt ranked at the moment. it was on warlord and the game had just started for real, but i had to make a cup of coffee so i went and did that and when i came back i had suicided 43 times in a row cause i was on the parachute spawn. not that i really car about rank, but how lame is 43 suicides in 1 round?

I believe it went unranked when we change the ratio to 130% for longer rounds. Do you guys want longer rounds for tonite or do you want ranked? We can't have both.

ranked please, i know i speak for my 3 bros that will be on tonight as well. i dont play enough to have a full eye bleed night go unranked.

whatever the decision, thank you for the consideration

unfortunately if we want to keep it full, we may have to leave it ranked :(

It's having problems right now. When I went to reboot it for ranked, it won't come back up.

Server should be back online now. It was stuck in an endless start/stop cycle.
