Account server issues

it wont let me connect to the account server today like at the main menu u when jus start up BF2 i hit login and it justsits there waited like 4 mins but nothing

does any1 else have this problem?
and yes i have restarted my comp and tryed it and nothing

Yes I have the same problem and so does my son's account. Something must be up...hopefully its temporary.

I am having the same problem...If you wait it out, it will eventually let you connect but it does take a pretty long time.

Same goes for disconnecting, it pauses and takes forever, but it will eventually disconnect

Thank god I'm not the only one. I just deleated and re-installed the game thinking I was the only one and it still didn't help. I even tried to re-install the last patch before I removed the game and it didn't work.

I was playing Rome total war and I had someone ask me to join the WiH server, I asked if he was playing and he said yes. That was 3 hours ago and I still have the same damn message the rest of you get about not connecting to server for my account. :crazy:

I just had to wait a REALLY long time, but then I got in. REALLY REALLY long. :wallbash:

yeah it took a long time to get in, but when i did i couldnt hit cancel on the "choose your unlock" window so i had to alt f4 out.

Good lord I'm mad right now. I tried logging in around 3pm est same problem as ya'll. I figured the problem was that the log-on server was down so I played some HL2 for about 2 hours, came back, still jammed. All-in-all I invested about $80 into this game with BF2 + SF and I can't kick back and play on a saturday? Maybe my life sucks but I look forward to saturday afternoon/night BF2 on WiH all week.
I really hope EA gets burned for making this game...
