Help me star wars geeks, your my only hope

Im playing Knights of the Old republic 2, i jumped from the astroid to telos...to nar shar. When you have the option of 4 planets to jump too does it make a difference what planet you go to as 3'd??? iI still do not have a lightsaber, and i remember wielding TWO when I hit ther third planet Kyyshyyk in KoTOR. This vibroblade is for shit. I like the stroy i guess so far, but they talk about the force over and over and over again, i wish i could jsut kill that old ass bitch. SHE MAKES Me want to go darkside, shut up already. Raleigh where the hell are you, pointers pl[ease or someone.

The order of the planets you visit doesnt realy matter in the long run, just as in the original. Also most of the loot drops are random, most shops are random, so getting a guarenteed item at such and such place rarely exists. After you build your first saber, you might find more, on my play through I found few, and the few I found were short ones. All a matter of luck I guess. I would suggest leaving Korriban for 3rd or last or whatever, there is an exploit that will allow you to farm exp. If you wanna see what a level 40 char plays like.

I would go to onderon as soon as posable. On onderon, if your good go witht e queen and if your bad go with the general. save dantooine for last. When I palyed it I got almost 10 lightsabers by the 3rd planet. I never did find out how to bring HK47 back. hang in there. you will find one soon. Also dont expect a great ending. it sets you up for the 3rd KOTOR. The ending really does suck. Kinda like Halo 2 :sniper:

Well I think im damn near at the end of the game, Im about to head to malachor V. I played as good side.

Most of the game I used:

Handmaiden once I trained her as a Jedi.
Visas once I got a lightsaber in her hand.
Atton and Mira cause they are pretty good shots.
Mandalore only when I had too.
HK-47 I got him up and running and he can take a hell of a punishment.
The old bitch makes great Jedi support but I didnt figure out how to get her to do this til the end of the game and now shes upped and dissapeared ( with a lightsaber the little thief)
I like R4 but I never use him because I want to develop the storylines, how much conversation can you actually have with the little guy?
Bao-dur this guy just absolutely put me to sleep and I never used him.
GOTO i never found out what the deal is with this droid.

I heard a rumor that besides handmaiden you can also turn atton, mira, and bao-dur into jedi but I could never get enough influence with them to do that. So it looks like my final party for whatever final fight will be me Handmaiden ( jedi) and visas (sith).

Why does it say Visas is a Sith when her intentions swing wildly torwards the light side?

I think because she was bound as a servant to the Sith Lord guy.She was acting on his orders to visit the main character.

About turning the others to Jedi, I got Bao-Dur and Atton as Jedis.
However I found it to be slightly pointless, Bao's skills favor unarmed and Atton's favors blaster. I didn't like using either one of them.
My preferred team -
Main char (of course)- Weapon master with strength equip( I think my str was over 40 by the end)
Handmaiden as Jedi - Also a great fighter
Bao-Dur - he had skills that would prove useful from time to time(computer, etc.) but he would rush into battle and die

i got bao dur, handmaiden and atton to be jedi, and as for visas when she woke up and was in the room, the 1st time i spoke to her i turned her to the lightside... it was easy!!!!! i said i wanted to save her and said the puffy stuff from then on and next time i checked she was half way to being fully light... i was all like hloy hell i think i crapped my pants...

I played once as a male and once as a female. There isn't really any difference in the matter of the planets you go through as told though if you play as a female instead of hand maiden you get some guy in the jedi archives on Dant..but i cant remember his name its been so long since i played. Psh! Good jedi! I found it harder to beat both the first and second game as a good jedi and i found it incredibly easy to beat it as a dark jedi..and funner. All those annoying characters that used you and abused you as a good jedi you get the pleasure of killing as a dark jedi.

I suggest you play through a dark female jedi next time! and yes you can turn almost any character into a jedi. Maybe all of them? I forget. I'd have to go stick the game in the xbox and open my save file right now but im too lazy. o_o. You just need to keep talking to them over and over and over again and bugging them about their past and eventually thats when they will ask for you to be their master or you will ask them if they want to be your apprentice.

The ending sucks not because it "sets you up for the third game" but because it was just about completely removed. The game was rushed to meet the christmas deadline (which is what republic commando was supposed to have done)

heard a rumor about it and since i have the pc version, i looked into it myself. but yeah... there was even supposed to be a whole new world to explore as well. it was supposed to have a factory where the hk droids are manufactured. it was supposed to be hk47's sidequest to all the hk50s running around.

sux, cuz I kind of had the feeling that things were falling apart after I got to dantooine because it got weeeiiird. And when the rumor cleared, i was disappointed. guess that's what happens when ya let an upstart company take over. ;T

Anyway, i heard there's a modding community looking to piece together the original ending. hope that turns out.

My fave character was Handmaiden. she was soo friggin hardcore, even more powerful w/ a saber than may character. since she had force jump, sometimes she'd clear a group of enemies before I got a chance to take a swing. :P her side story was cool too.

I'd have to agree about bao-dur, and I didn't care for atton much either -- too whiny 'n weak. though the fan girls <3 him and that Kavar jedi :T har har, though i never met anyone who liked disciple :P

EDIT: Oh yeah, you can turn just about every character to lightside/darkside depending. There's even a sound file that has visas, handmaiden, bao, and atton confronting kreia together and she calls them the Lost Jedi or what not.

Oh! Thats what his name was. Disciple is the one you get if you play a girl in the jedi archives. I love Disciple he was like the essence of sexy jedi. And yes i liked Atton too. But I must say I did not find the second games characters as likable as the first games..and yes the ending did suck. It didnt matter if you beat it as a dark jedi or good jedi it just sucked at the end..Though I found the quests funner as a dark jedi and the good jedi quests just long and boring.

I have to say i'd play it if they released a third game. KOTOR is what took me from simply liking the movies to LOVING Star Wars.
