Man you Easterners have a real problem with deer coming through your windshields. Don't know how many deer get hit by cars out here but it is a lot and I have yet to hear of one coming through a windshield.
But anyways those pics are gross, I would hate to have been the driver or a passenger in that SUV, getting splattered by deer guts. Have to take several showers just to get the smell off.

Anyone up for some tasty pureed venison?
I'm surprised they were able to find the other half of the deer.
Also, it almost looks like the cop is kissing the guy in the background in the first picture.

I live in West Virginia...It is now hunting season here so the deer are running. It can get REALLY bad with deer playing chicken with cars here.

The guy must have been speeding. Deers don't usually splash like that. I hit one and it flew about 50 feet off the road, but didn't come apart.
oh yeah.
That's gross!

:yuck: Lets see... Deer are very abundant up here, in fact last week, one hit my father... yes it ran into the dump body of his f350, got thrown under the tires, and broke its neck... our friends(expert hunters) skinned it, and DE-meated it :hehehe: and we will be having Venacin(sp) very soon

Mmmm. Am I like the only one not grossed out by the pictures? I find myself strangely deattached and unsympathetic towards the deer.
Oh well. Maybe I would make a good medical examiner after all.
Cool pictures! Those I wonnder about the authenticity. I've never seen a deer splatter like that either.

For what its worth, my mom was a first responder and my stepdad a police officer. I've actually heard of incidents where people have been killed hitting deer. Especially speeding and in smaller cars.
One such incident I know of was a couple friends of mine were racing their lancer and eclipse. The Eclipse was in the lead and hit the deer that flew over it and landed on the Lancers windshield. It went through the Lancers windshield and killed my friend.

When I visited Pennsylvania last year, I was in utter shock at the amount of wildlife that just dart across the roads. Down in Florida possums and racoons are the most common.

I don't think that it COULD be ...... the first picture shows the front half of the corpse pretty much intact. It looks like all the blood & guts was from it's ass, hind legs, and oh yeah ...... intestines! :hehehe:

When I used to live out on the Indian Reservation (my dad was a principle at one of the rez schools) we would sometimes have to dodge black cows at night that wondered onto the road. At least one to two people a year died from hitting cows at night where I used to live, now I live in a town and don't have to go out there anymore. Oh and on top of cows we would sometimes have to dodge people walking in the middle of the freakin highway, about one or so people a year died from being hit by cars when they were walking in the middle of the road. Now all I have to worry about is deer, antelope and sometimes moose on the road when I drive out of town, hell sometimes I have to dodge deer in town.

In the town where I work, there was a deer that ran through a bunch of side streets, ran through the parking lot of the only grocery store in town, I think it even jumped onto a couple of parked cars, got winged by a car, and took off out of town.
