SF: First map recommendations

Tonight, Monday, there were quite a few, "There is a problem with your connection," messages.

It seems to happen alot after the Leviathan map. I usually lose my connection and have to reconnect after this map. Between Leviathan and Ghost Town.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but can we change the first map to something other than Leviathan? I have probably played this more than any other map in SF, and I only play here. :wallbash:

I was thnking the same thing. Which map do you guys prefer to be the first map? Typically, the first map needs to be exciting and fun to draw people in to the server.

Any map but the Iron gator or whatever it is called, by comp struggles through that map like no other. Then through smoke and stuff in the mix, and its all over. Hopefully after my comp has played all the levels it will begin the run a lot better.

I would say warlord first map, or night flight/fight...(the server says night fLight but the manual says night fight :crazy: )

P.S. there is also the map from the video...don't know the name, but that one is cool 2

Definitely...it needs the appeal of a Karkand as in regular BF2...which Warlord is.

i hope iron gator isnt the aircraft carrier map. i really like that one.

would be nice if first map was a day map....anything but leviathon

I've made the first map to be Warlord. Let's see how it goes. This should be effective at next reboot/crash.

I ended up putting Devils Perch as first map. quite a few people at Planetbattlefield likes Devils Perch. So it's the first map.

Ghost Town would be another good choice...it's daytime and has choppers. I have seen 24/7 Ghost Town servers so there must be something to it.

I like it...quite a bit now that I have played it more.
