I did not get the SF pack, I told Deb to keep her coins. I might even get it anyways as I am not going to be playing BF2 for a while. at east not right now. I feel like charlie brown, wishy washy.
I have dealt with a lot of new jerks lately in BF2 and been getting real ticked off. And when I get this ticked offed in a game I become a major arsehole. And I end up stooping down to the tards level of play to get back at them.
I need to step away from the gaming machine for a while.
I have mental health (har har, look at shark the retatrd :nuts: ) problems and computers are part of my therphy, along with gaming.
I figure that in a month the regulars will have all gotten back on and all the lameass's will have gone back to the other servers from hence they spawned from to wreck hell on WiH. and I will reinstall the OS and stuff back on the game box and join again BF2, if I'm still welcome too.
I am going to spend this time trying to learn about apache for my server, and try out some more new linux distros from distrowatch.com. :yaya: one of my favorite past times.
I ment alot of neato folks here and hope to be able to frag with ya all again in the futra
I will still lurk in the corner here, and sometimes insert my 0.02 worth.

Take a break! I did for a while. Played some Stubbs, some GTR, some SWAT 4. I felt a LOT better coming back, because I was getting pretty burned out on BF2. Now I can't wait to play it when I get my days off!

yeah i have taken quite a few breaks from bf2. i get bored with it really quickly. but the new SF is great i really like it and i found its worht my 30 bucks so far. like the new weapons and how you can use them in vanilla bf2. like the new maps too nice change. check it out its pretty fun.

i will miss teaming up with ya, but I understand, and yes have noticed alot of new faces and alot of idiots, I got SF, and have played it once for about 3 hours and it has never seen my optical drive again. ANyway once ur back I guess I will see ya on the field.\\\

Thats probably a good idea man.. I've been thinking of doing the same thing. Had some major technical issues after I installed SF and installed the patch. Decided to take a day to update my OS/Drivers/Bios and created even more issues. Been working on them in my spare time for the last couple days. Finally got everything working right but the server is all screwy now what with the side-changing thing at the end of the round. Gonna take a break myself least until they get to patching some of these issues.

SHARK....I hera you man. Some real lame ass people started getting on here and it doesn't help to deal with them when the server keeps switching you to sides and breaking up any good group of guys you are playing with each time.

Don't bother about the spelling I think we all could use some class and they can't complain there is no spell check. :thumbsup:

As for me I can handle BF2 server, but the new little a-holes that seemed to have showed up lately, it's the SF server I'm so pissed about, I have lost every game except one on there I think. It seems I hook up with the team that doesn't no anything about anything. I can get some of our reg guys together, but we are only part of the team.

I play other games that, well don't get me that pissed off. Like ROME TOTAL WAR....single player of course. Take a break and in about a week you will be falling on the floor, just to get a shot at one round of BF2. :D

excactly the same with me frog about the SF server...there is NO teamwork, I was so desperate that I made my own squad and kept kicking ppl out when they didn't played like a team. that was assome...I gave them the order to defent the possition and the enemy just couldn't get it from us (it was on Levithian) we holded the southern side...but after a while our defending point was the only one left...., my squad was great...but the others well, lets just say they haven't heard of the word teamplay yet. I was just so angry that my squad was the only one who were doing some shit :wallbash:

The only way to really enjoy the full aspects of any game like BF2 or BF2SF, is to get on a squad and play as a squad. There are a few good Squad leaders like Frogbait that understand that concept. All I can hope is that we can get squads on the BF2SF server to start playing like a team, and they fix some of the problems quickly with BF2SF. I like the conceppt of the new release but untill they fix some things I will stick with old faithfull. BF2 :D
