SF Installation

Alright. Here's the deal, let me know what's going on.

I just bought SF after work today and right now I'm in the process of installing. When I first did the installation of SF, it took bout 5 minutes in the beginning to 'patch' my current version of BattleField2. When I opened SF to play, it said I need to download a new patch, thus I'm now in the process of downloading this 280mb file(at whole 3%).

Do I really need this patch since my game patched during installation or do I also need this patch?

Oh and by the way... if it matters. I didn't install the patch before I installed Special Forces.

OMG THANK YOU! I was attempting to download that patch through Battlefield and I was downloading at like... 30KB/sec. Now I'm rockin over 300KB/sec. I love you man, this will go by so much faster now.

I thought I was gonna have to kill myself if I waited through the whole thing at such slow speeds.

I also have a question: do I have to insert the Bf2-disc while installing Sf?

I have my Battlefield2 disc in my computer... that's what I played with.

I'm pretty sure you can play with either disc, BF2 or SF.

No, during installation you only need the Special Forces disks.
