How is everyone liking it? Do u believe i should spend 30 bucks for it? Or shall i just stay with the regular server?

Buy it if you really like BF2. I talked alot of crap about it the first day I got it but I had a much better experience playing yesterday. Even still, it is very buggy: the net code and gaming engine is even less efficent than the original which has given me some eratic net behavior and even less graphic playability. Hopefully it'll be better after they patch it again.

Dont let anyone bs you and tell you that its not. You have to install the new patch before AND after you install Spec Forces. It did not slow up my load times getting into BF2 at all. I was very concerned about this. The maps are great and the detail in them is amazing. Surge is awesome!!!! If you like BF2 you are going to love this.
Its great having more choices. I really like the new maps more than BF2.

I bought the game. Not sure if I like it 100% due to the extreme learning curve on the night maps. But other than that it's still a solid buy.

I'm not going to vote as I don't think either choice does my view point any justice...

All of the "major" changes were made to the core code so I feel like I paid for a 30.00 "mappack" that only came with 8 maps...

The only things specific to SF are the grappling hook and Zip line...

The tear gas and flash bangs are all in the BF2 main code...Even the NV and Gas mask are part of the main code line...

Sorry I just think this is a retarded way to make a game...

With that said it is a fun game and I really enjoy the new chalenges the SF expansion has added....

love the game, however i feel a patch is due immediately to adress some of the lag concerns and what not.

however i love the weapons, grapples, flashbangs,NV goggles all the new stuff makes it toally worth it.

being able to use flashbangs and the new weapons in vanilla bf2 is great.just wish we could use the grapples for vanilla too then it would be the best.

but yes totally worth my money so far!
