I've never used C4 to kill soldiers but had it blow me and a bunch of my squad all the time; especially on Karkand.

For those that are demolitions and explosives experts, does exploding enemy UAV/Sat/Art count towards the 13 kills?

Or must the 13 kills be comprised only of human kills?

Only troop kills. I know everyone says to get this one on Karkand. I got mine on Omar.... Good stuff running around on the beach flags throwing c4 over the walls.

Suicide bomb on Karhand. Lame ya so do it right and get it over with first try :yaya:

Edit: just found out hand nades aren't explosives :dunno: (only mines, clays, and c4's)

O and from Us side of Kharand with claymores out is quite affective as well.. (toss them in the fenced area near the flag) you will almost always get a kill (unless one guy spots it and the team actualy moves so he can blow it) and up to 5

Beggining of the games of course

i got mine on mashtuur as MEC, dropped c4 out the back of the hooptie onto a full blackhawk with an extra person on the pad... 7 kills right there, then got 3 more as a flag defense, and then blew up the BH from the ground at the SW flag when it hovered too low, boom explosive ordinance ;)

So you toss it over and then almost immediately detonate it?

I got my basic on Karkand and was one short of the veteran in the same round..I almost cried :jerkit:.

At the start of the map I was USMC and would sneak around to the back of the flag and then walk behind people, plant a c4 and BOOM! I got lucky and killed abouy 10-14 people in like 10 seconds because 2 medics just kept reviving this group of dead bodies and I kept blowing them up! :yaya:

wow sphera.... this isnt intended as a flame or anything, but you really must have a laid back gameplay style... .45 KD ratio and 52 points per hour are freakin low man, start killin some shit ;)

Yeah, this is my first FPS, really. So I've been playing mostly the passive kits like Medic or Support. Never really been the lead man into assaults. But that's what I love about BF2, I don't need to be ultra aggressive to contribute.

KD ratio is deceptive, though, because since I do play support roles, we get killed more often than kill so while we contribute a lot with revives, heals, and re-supplies, those actions combined with a lack of kill credit and more deaths makes our KD look "bad".

I've been playing MMORPGs for the last 4-5 yrs or so but since moving back stateside, I don't have the time to commit to MMOs... so BF2 is great for a lesser time commitment.

all I did on kirland was drop c-4 here and there, went and hid up by our arty, waited till our uav came up, saw all the lovley red spots and BOOM!, rinsed and repeted and got my basic badge, a couple TKs but it was worth it.

After countless hours trying the Jihad jeep method - I changed up my stategy and placed c4 on the gas pumps and in the building (gas station) on Daqing oilfields...

I recieved my Veterans badge pretty easily on the Karkland map. Be sniper and lay claymores on walk ways. I got my 23 before the map ended. I did get some TK's though. If you are MEC, place them close to the hill. If you are USMC, place it near the courtyard openings in the fence. Be sure to lay them both and charge the emey with pistol. You need to die so that you will get two more clays to lay.
