I finally got to.....

to be commander for a few games last night!!! I must say, that since I last played commander the squad work has gotten better. Squads were actually doing what I asked....we kick some serious ass on Songhua Stalemate!!!! Thanks for being great squads....I just hope my commanding didn't include too much talking for you :)

I'd much rather the commander talk. You get a better sense of what's ahead of you then.

I can see that the frog doesn't like my commanding skills.....he was listening to me....then....denied EVERYTHING I sent him....and started to yell at me :( We did win though, however the next round when I wasn't commanding...we got obiliterated!

I'm sure you did well. Thats good that you found a good group of squads who wanted to work together. I deffinetly have my off days and on days in that department. I sometimes also wonder whether I'm giving everyone a headache talking so much as commander but the results I usually see toward the end of the game tell me we're all doing something right. Keep up your style of commanding, after awhile the squad leaders will get used to you and be using you alot more. You gotta remember that squad leaders are quiet sometimes just because they aren't used to having a commander who's willing to work with them through every little detail.
I gotta take my hat off to Frog for putting this game into perspective for me. Being as verbal as he is, is what makes him so successful as a squad leader and I have tried to do the same in commanding roles and it has paid off well for me. Plus, it adds alot more fun to the game when you have everyone one else communicating back to you.

I only take commander when its mid game and I check to see "Who is this worthless commander and why isn't there UAV on this area???" and then I see that no one is there. I hate commander but if no one else is there I guess someone's got to do it... :(

Props to Drayu :thumbsup: HE did an awesome job, I will follow the commander when he makes sense, IMO every squad should... plus he talked alot, which was good, and he is correct, I know 3 squads were listening, and he even got to 6 man squads working together to keep and hold three flags, Karkand was kick@$$!!! I totally thought we were going to lose. As for Frog, he probably had other intensions, the misfit group :hehehe: as long as you have the majority working, it is all good.
