View Full Version : Absolutely HORRIBLE play on BF2 last night

So I think I had the WORST night of BF2 I've ever had. I thought about hanging up my joystick for good.

I get shot down by Drayu. Twice.
I get run over by some 11-year old named "w4l0rd_Haxorz1" or something.
I'm in a Mig, and somehow TK Canadian23 without his plane actually being on my screen. He's like "WTF was that, eh". Well, he didn't really say that, I just like to take any opportunity I can to say 'eh' in a sentence.
Hostyle and I get in an su-34, and get TK'd by some freak from mygot on the runway.
For some reason, over the last week, I've been lagging in planes.
I get shot down by Drayu. Twice.
So I get in a helicopter, and promptly hit a tree.
So I get in a helicopter, and get yelled at by my co-pilot and favorite actor, David Hasselhoff. Now I will never be able to watch "Baywatch" again.
So I get in a helicopter with one of my favorite pilots, Hostyle. Normally I kill everything in sight, but last night I couldn't hit crap. I'm trying to kill a stupid sniper :flipoff: and we promptly get shot down. By a tank that was RIGHT in front of us. Hostyle tries to be nice and says "What was that?" when he was REALLY thinking "It was right in front of us for ten minutes dicksmack".
I TK'd the same dude like twice with bombs. Here's a little hint for you guys on the MEC side on "Gulf of Oman". I'M FRIGGIN SORRY I KILLED YOU, BUT *EVERYTIME* YOU GET IN THE AA YOU SHOW UP AS AN ENEMY!
I get TK'd, twice, by said AA.
I got shot down by Drayu. Twice.
STL-JY1, normally one of the better pilots on the map, with me as a co-pilot, promptly hits a tree. Hostyle gets in as his co-pilot, and they promptly score thousands of points.
"BythePineTree" or whatever his name is, base camps me about 5 times on "Wake Island" while waiting for a plane. I eventually figure out I ought to move.
I see a Mig and I'm like all "WOOHOO". While running to it, I get run over by a jeep. I hear my teammate go "<laughing>>Sorry<laughing>".
STL-JY1 and Canadian have like 45 points in a jet. I had like 8.
Oh yeah, and I was talking to my son so my joystick got turned slightly, so on takeoff on "Diqang Oilfields" I promptly veer left and hit the UAV. Nice.
After all that, I finally had to alt-f4 it.

Now granted, I was really tired and felt like I was gonna yak all day, but still.
One more of those, and I'm outta here. Permanently. :)

I was in squad with Canadian23 when you TK'd him last night, and I think he did say something to that effect... LMAO... Anyway, that [mygot] dude you were talking about was driving our squad nuts when he kept spamming "enemy spotted" like a hundred million times. I went on TS though after he tk'd Hostyle and I think they took care of him.
I know what you mean about having bad nights though. Not yesterday but the day before yesterday I was commanding, it seemed like I couldn't do anything right. Squad leaders kept asking to drop artillery on positions that had friendlies on them, a couple times just before they were about to take the flag, it was driving me crazy!
Don't give up man, we all have our nights... Tonight will be better.. besides its the weekend...we're playing all night!!! :rockon:

should I be offended? I shot you down 6 times in gulf of oman....you tked canadian because I was chasing him and you fired off missles...I popped flares and the missles went for a already ailing canadian.....

I am a good pilot...I am! :(

It was twice. That was enough trauma for me. After that I just moped.
And that wasn't the map I TK'd Canadian on. It was "Wake". I suppose I must've rammed him because I didn't shoot any missles. I had just taken off the runway.

And I was just giving you a hard time. I have no idea if you are a good pilot or not :)

I actually had a good time last night. Except for the lack of commanding skills, but that's another thread :yaya:

We had some good squad work, even though I'm not the best squad leader (as my team last night might attest too.) But it was fun :D

I played for all of 10 minutes last night, I got on, got killed, spawned got killed, I had 6 deaths in two minutes... I really dislike Wake Island, I joined and we only had 1 flag left. I am assuming one of tha admins banned the Myg0t POS... they are scum of the Earth. Anyway, I got my arse kicked in CS:S, and really didnt feel like dieing anymore last night, so I feel your pain DW...

Darknesswithin dude, I know the feeling when nothing is going your way. It sucks. Last night I was getting nailed left and right from every which angle. I was on the non-USA team for the most part and we were getting wooped up and down, left and right. It was awful and I was about to put my fist through my monitor. So irritating.

THen this morning, some yahoo's from Germany are on the server with pings of 800 or so and one of them snipes me out of my aircraft....OH man, that pissed me off so much...

The spawn-die thing is one of the reasons I don't squad-up as much as I used to. Too often the squad leader is right in the middle of a fight, you spawn in a die instantly. That happened several times last night so I just lone-wolfed it.

Of course, the way I played, I don't suppsoe I helped much anyway.

But I will atone for myself tonight!

No. That was you huh? Sorry. Seriously though, you kept showing up as an enemy triangle, and since I was locked-onto, I thought you were an enemy.

I'm starting to make two passes now to be sure.

i remeber that and did say that too being my canadian self i crashed into you not the other way around also i got 89 pionts on that wake map with about 50 kills and a bad team kills a chooper thing "dam missles"

Everyone has their bad days. Recently I had a sprut on the server wheren I spawned, and I died 8 times in a row..... spawn, someoene's there, die.

Thats really fricking annoying, trust me. So I can empasize with you a bit there;)

Get back to it!

No, not really. My dad had surgery, my stomach has been a mess I've been really stressed. This server and you guys here are actually one of the FEW things that has helped me escape.

All that said, I DID actually almost punch my monitor :)

I had a bad time this morning (late, very late in the evening for u guys, still offy's is like an computer, he don't care) It was one map, don't know witch that I thougt I had it all, the only kills were TK, I don't know how i got those, I did no freakin thing. well i got killed many times and I even maneged to take out a sniper, yes a sniper and I shot him in the back while he was laying down 10 ft away....should hat gotten my knife out. wo I was ready to quit, but then I realized offy was still on and after that I kept playing for a while had some fun. and all of the sudden my mom came rushing in saying I got to do my homework...my results haven't been to good last time
