Wih #1 server?????????????????

Well I would have to say so, after playing a couple of servers, the quaility of play did not match Wih!! I will not name the servers I played, they may not have the resources or care to have as good of a server they may be happy with their server the way it is, but I the gamer, can tell a big difference in TK and WiH is more of a challenge, with in my opinion better skilled players most of the time. Basically just wanted to thank those that run this server so smoothly. All those who may read this and are just members you should really donate a few dollars if you are regulars, I will be and I am sure it will only get better!

Thank you for the kind words dos3age! Knowing that there are players out there, like yourself, that enjoy playing on servers and appreciate the work that goes into maintaining the servers and admin'ing them makes it all worthwhile to the owners, the admins, and myself.

Hey, yeah thanks for the compliment, well for adminning anyway :D And I will say this in respect to all WiH regulars, the competition level on WiH is far superior than most other servers in my opinion, my mouse never gets slammed as much as it does on WiH, and I credit that to all who play here daily. I myself have tried other servers for a comparison in adminning and what not, and really there is no comparison, again in my opinion!

Myself... like several others problably... stumbled across the WiH server looking for a solid server to play in, and we all became hooked.

I ABSOLUTELY will not play in another server now. I dunno why, I have 4 servers marked in my Favorites but I'll literally sit there and refresh WiH server until someone opens a spot. The competition is great, the players are great... we're all one big loving family.

But that's pretty darn close to #1 when u consider that there are over 6300 other BF2 servers.

I haven't played on a non WiH server since... I think I joined, possibly one night when the server was down for a bit, but other than that WiH is my BF2 home. Good job with the server admin team :thumbsup:

After reinstalling BF2 I've only added one server to my favorites.

yes WIH server is the best. My clan even has our own 64 man ranked server located in Dallas wich i have admin to and i still play WIH server wich i dont have admin.course my clan server was down for a bit and we lost all of our population now our server is basically dead.anyway thanks for the awesome server, it dose have some of the best games on it.

Its good to know I am not the only one sitting on the refresh button, and yes since I started on WiH I am on my 2nd mouse, LOL.

every once in a while i pop in to another server, and they are all easy by comparison. wih has the most skilled population i think. i am overall average on our server. some great games, some horrible games. on other servers making the top 3 is usually a wiz.

i have also noticed the overall "punishing" has gone down on our server i think. just new guys and visiting assholes doing it.

And I also echo what papasan is saying as well. I will occasionally try a different server, just to see what its like, and I always come back here quickly.

And I have noticed the punishing is less as well, not gone, but much less than it was.

I think as more and more people get familiar with each other and become online friends, they'll punish each other less bc you know the other person didn't do it on purpose.

Yeah the punishing is way less from what I can tell from the other servers, also TK don't happen as often, I know and we all know they happen, some accidental ( especially when I am in a jet ) and some on purpose most from the new folks or just jerks playing. Either way I don't know how this server is #3, it should be #1, I played the so called #2 server, not gonna name let's just say it the left coast one, it was ok, but to me it was nothing special, no team work, and wasn't as challenging to me, I am not a BF2 guru but I feel I can hold my own like the rest who play everyday.

about the server...It's the best I have ever seen. and its true that the skill is so much higher. when I started playing on WiH suddenly I gained less medals.

I got 5 servers in my fovorits, I played one 1 very often before I got hooked with WiH, the other 3 are dutch and I'm still willing to try them. but I always go to WiH. most of the times all the servers in my list have 5 - 10 slots open, and WiH is the only full one, still I refresh untill I can get in the WiH server. Like theires some hypno thing with it I don't know it just atracks me :D

about the asking for a place in the server by an admin, after 15 min. of refreshing I give up. still I feel srry for that guy that is kicked. the first time I played on the WiH server (was a real noob) I was kicked in 15 min to make room for a member, I was so damn mad that I was telling myself not to play on that horrible server again. I just can't believe I said that now...

I´m also one of those who are almost breaking their mouse by hitting refresh. I finally managed to get on TS but I guess I´ll never use it to ask for a spot because it must really be a horrible feeling for the one getting kicked for me from this great server.

My record is about three minutes of, "count one" click, "count one" click. LOL it is so worth the wait. I had several favs also which have been del from list. Now there are two and #2 is for when I can't hook up with WiH.

Is the 2500 ping I get hit with, is that the makin room deal. Only happens once in a while for about five seconds then it comes back to the sub 100 range. If so will WiH tags cure this?
