aC.50|B>

Well i figured its about time i threw down a post in meet & greet as I've been a reg in WiH since shortly after bf2 came out but never really got on the forums (main reason is because i signed up with aC.50|B> as my user-name and everything went fine, but it wont let me log in, just says invalid information, so i made aC39)
So anyway, I'm a 23 yr old soon to be college grad (getting my bachelor's in Information Science and Technology on December 17th). I've been working as a computer programmer for a credit union for the last 7 months mainly doing Web applications based on VB6 and ASP or C# and ASP.NET.
I live with my girlfriend of 5 and a half years and we'll probably be buying a house together in the spring assuming i get a full time job (applications floating in the wind right now).
I got addicted to gaming on the PC in around November of 1999 when my cousin in jersey showed me a little game called counter-strike, which was a mod for a game i hadn't heard of called half-life (sounds silly now doesn't it) needless to say i went out and picked up a copy (for $20) a few days later and was instantly hooked on CS (this was around beta 4, when the community was still small)
I basically stuck with CS with only a few short breaks for other games like BF1942 along the way, never really breaking from my roots... finally around April of this year i finally put CS down when someone got me addicted to WoW... i concentrated on that until BF2 came out, and i haven't looked back to either (i don't have the free time to juggle multiple games with 2 jobs, school, and a live-in non-gaming gf) Sometimes i kind of miss it because i was damn good at cs, good enough that I'd regularly be banned from servers that i played on for the first time for "h4xin and not admitting it n00b" which made me feel good, but was also quite frustrating, and I've now no doubt lost my touch after such a long hiatus.
So I've been loving BF2, mainly for its diversity in gameplay, if you start getting bored with any aspect, there's always so much else to do (except snipe... because snipers are worthless ;))
Love playing in a squad with sarj/hostyle/Jihad and others, nothing like stealing the other teams helo's/planes and raping them with them ;)
Love the community and figured it was damn-well time i started posting and meeting everyone behind the scenes.
oh and as far as the name, i realize its a little odd, and no its not "1337-5P34|<". the aC originated from my early-immature, get a rise out of people name... which can remain nameless because that's not who i am :) and the .50|B> was for a long time a group of guys who played CS and 1942 together, not so much a clan (we never had a scrim/match) as just a group of friends who had fun pubbing together... stood for 50 caliber brawlers, and the typical syntax was take your name, make it 2 letters and put it before the . for example one guys name was bosCage, he was bC.50|B>
most guys disappeared, the only one left plays under iLemon sometimes in WiH... he's a pretty good medic.
aight I've said enough, can't wait to play more with you guys, its always fun as hell.
