Competition level on server

This is a reply to the person who said "the competition here is insane." You are so dead right about that comment. This weekend I tried 4 other servers just to see what kind of lame tossers they were. I owned every single game like a haxor. My score topped 20- 8 out of 8 times. If you have played here for a few months and your score averages something like 10-10 or 8-10 or even 6-10, do yourself a favor and check out a different server at least ONCE. You will find you are a much better player then your score reflects on this server. You will however, countinue to play on this server because OF THE PLAYERS. Note-- people were actually shocked and mowed down in twos or threes when I played. You dont see people on this server bunching up like that at choke points. It was also fun to get over 20 kills with a scout. Even though the AWP might be available, youll find you buy a scout like second nature. People even think your skilled cause your killing with a scout. I guess you are.

I second that...everytime the server has gone down for updates, I have been accused of hacking and everything else on other servers. While I was grateful to be accused of that, kicking n00bs asses isn't nearly as fun as playing with competition on this server.

I know exactly what you're talking about.

On this server, I'm "ok". Some nights I play very good, while other nights I can't even kill a camper with his back toward me.

But when I go on other servers, I'm always in the top 3. The other night I was accused of hacking because I was 40-6. Of course the complainers were like 4-15.

I agree that the competition is very good here. Just this morning I played on some server with like 32 people in it and within the first 3 rounds I became highest score with 15-0. It was crazy how good I was playing. Luckily no one accused me of hacking, they just said it wasn't their day and crap like that.

In all seriousness though, one of the reasons I play here is the competition. Without it the game would get dull, my skills (or lack thereof) would diminish, and I would quickly find myself playing Sims 2. Don't laugh, I know some of you are already playing it when you're not on a WiH server. :D

The second reason would be the personalities and camaraderie that I see on WiH servers... which is almost unheard of for online frag gaming. You guys (no girls yet) really make this fun. The banter, jokes... the seriousness, and yes even the whining (to an extent) make this server seem more like an apartment complex then a game server.

It's true, I join this server knowing that I'll have friends to chat with, and even on weekdays I give up goin out to the bar or whatnot with my buds to play CSS cause not only do i get to play a wicked-ass game, but I get to chill with my other group of friends too :D

And Jeff is right, the level of skill on this server is pretty high.. I go play on other ones with my buddies and it's complete and utter ownage.

When i went with my CAL-I friend to all these servers, we both went like 70-6 and stuff like that. It was too funny. Getting banned and kicked from so many servers it was hilarious. The only reason i like this server is cause theres no little cry babies (well, not alot) and not many kids come cause they are all e-thugs and get banned fast. Plus, theres many regulars on alot of the time and more regulars = more teamwork :D. Also, its fun having 3:1 ratio's regularily :D

Well, 2:1 ratios regulary with lots of 3:1 mixed in :D Also, cause when i first joined the server i was a noob and had crappy scores. Then i bought a new mouse and new computer and everything and i got alot better. I HATE YOU HOBO. I > YOU. :D I WUB YOU. CAPS!
