Yup... this is the one I have been using for a while now. I love it... fits my hand so nicely.
Yeah I own it too.
What settings are you guys using? I tried lowering the mouse sensitivity in game for better aim, and turning on the logitec mouse acceleration for quicker movement.
It didn't work out well. I've set it back to 3.0 in game with no acceleration.

That one is good but the MX510 is pretty much the best gaming mouse you can buy. I think only the Razor Viper(i think thats what it is called :|) is better cause it has a really high DPI. Its like 1200 DPI or something. I got the MX510 :D

Really? Because this one has 1600 dpi... so we win ;).

lol. i set mine to 5.5 and dont use acceleration it'll only mess up ur game
My big question to you guys is this - how long does that thing last on one charge? How long does it take to recharge? Those are important points that no one has made! :)
Also, isn't the MX510 the older version? I found that one for only 49.99 at Best Buy.

I have the MX1000 and it is the best mouse I have ever owned
Charge lasts about 3 days+
A bit pricey but worth it IMO

Yeah... I leave mine off the charge for about 2 days... but I use it almost constantly and it doesn't actually drain completely.
I just recharge at night while I sleep... so I am not sure how long it takes to recharge... I just recharge it every 2 days so I know it won't die on me during the day.

the mx510 is not the older mouse it is the wired version of the mx1000 i believe the response time of the mx1000 is higher though. i really like my mx510.

I have the Laser Mouse.
I still suck.
It was a Christmas present from Mother Goose.
I really like it, but sadly I have not turned overnight into a killing machine.

Thanks, wihadmin!
When we first started playing CS:S I was getting really depressed- I'm only 27 but I feel really old when I get schooled by a 15 year old kid who can jump off a ledge, spin in mid-air, shoot me in the head as he falls, and spray paint my body as he lands on me. No offense to the 15 year olds :) Or the people older than me who can do the same thing ;)
Mother Goose made me feel better, though, by pointing out that on any given server at most times there are always a 2-4 people on each team getting a ton of the kills and rest of us are kind of along for the ride. I thought, "Well, that's not so bad." So we formed our own little "clan" where the only real requirement would be that you don't act like a jerkoff on the servers, and where you make sure you're having fun even if you're, you know...like 1 kill and 12 deaths.
Back to the mouse though :yaya: Mother Goose has the gaming mouse and I have the laser one. I really like the fact that his has a couple fewer buttons because it's easier to map them then- I hit the side scroll buttons WAY too much when I'm trying to center click and stuff.
But I do like the wireless function, I've had no lag or jerkiness problems. I also like the fact that it's slightly heavier. I have a tendency to panic when I get shot at and a lighter mouse gets jerked around WAY too much in my pudgy little hands. The thumb and pinky rests on the sides are also larger and more comfortable for me.
I never thought I'd own an $80 mouse, but it is pretty cool.
