Oh my god. Alterac Valley is INSANE. So Joey (LF) gets little time to play between getting off of work at 5-6PM..doing his flash videos..and going to bed at around 12:30-1:30 every day and he's only level 47. I'm level 51 and I've been PvPing for like four days straight trying to let him catch up and I got a level off of pvping since you get 3200xp a win haha.
Anyways level 51 is the minimum requirement for AV and i qeued myself. To my surprise a game started up like ten minutes later. Now for AV to start you need a full raid party which is i think 8 groups on both sides. It's insane. I did it twice last night and got about 1500+ hks. There's level 55-63 MOBs a lot of them elites and its level 51-60 players pounding on each other nonstop. People drop like flies. Most of the time you push them back then they push you back and little to no progress is made.
The horde won both times though unfortunately the first round I went afk to help my mom bring out groceries and I got kicked from AV for being AFK but I was there the second time around for the win. We got up to their last two forts and graveyard just outside the boss and even after we took both bunkers we fought for the graveyard for like an hour. It's really long but its fun. I haven't gotten to check how much honor I got for it yet but i'm really hoping to get to rank 7 by next tuesday. Apparently you can only rank up two ranks a week and i'm rank 5. If you get rank 11 you can buy an epic mount for 90g. For the trolls its a badass black raptor. Hell yeah. Epic mount for 90g? Score baby. I am so working towards rank 11. Anyways a lot of the PvP gear for being honored/exalted with the defilers and frost wolf clan is better than high level raid group instance gear.
One of the items for being exalted with the frost wolf clan is one of the best weapons in the game i've heard. I forgot the name.
Tyranicus was in both AVs with me last night! He was nice enough to shield and heal me when he saw me which was nice because I notice not a lot of priests heal or shield in pvp they tend to just kill. Sorry but i'm absent minded and i can never remember if tyranicus is saigon or icepick haha. I love you guys! pick easier names next time.
