Also I should note that the M48A above is my gun, we both have similer ones, but Winter is too lazy to take a pic of his, so he stole mine. With that, here is one with bayonet affixed.

I am thinking about getitng a P-22, fits nice in the hand, but is it fun? Does the clip load easy? jam often?

I love my P22. The magazines load easily. If you get one , as long as you get one that was made in the last couple of years you should be good, since they've got all the bugs worked out. The only jams I've had is at a long range session with cheap ammo (think Remington 525 round bulk pack for $9) when the feed ramp gets dirty. I just wipe off the feed ramp and keep going. It has never jammed with premium ammo like CCI stingers or CCI minimags. It is GREAT fun to go shooting towards dusk and pop off a mag or 2 of CCI stingers, the muzzel flash is rediculous for a .22
Here are some more pics:
Fobus makes a holster for them now.

And its such a small gun too.

But the reason for getting a 22 is the cheap ammo :D

I am at work so I had to find a pic online, but this is the .22 I have. S&W 622. Absolutely love it, never jams, clip is easy to load, and it is about 50 times cheaper to shoot then my 9mm.

Just out of pure curiousity, about how for much is the p22, the one you have in your hand nlinc?

It was about $275 or so after taxes etc. Also to dinky, the reason it james is cause the chepa ammo will gum up the feed ramp, that being said I can usually rip through 300-500 of the cheapest of the cheap with no problems, then if it has a failure to feed, I just wipe the feed ramp off quickly and go right back to shooting. Its very nice going into a walmart, spening less than $20 and walking out with 1100 rounds of ammo :D

Lots of flashes and bangs for little money, thats why I was thinking about getting another 22 pistol, or rifle (don't have a .22 rifle yet.)
BTW im still at work so this is a stock photo of my 9mm

Have you had any problems with an excessively heavy trigger (8-16lb range) with your P-11?
DinkyPoopStick

not any real problems, it is heavy, but without the traditional safety button, that heavy trigger is there to keep you from shooting yourself if you are carring concealed. don't want the gun going off in your pocket because your keys bumped the trigger

Oredering guns on the internet makes thing a whole lot easier...
You order it from a retailer (so you know you're not getting a "parts" gun, but a factory-built rifle) and have it sent to a gun shop in town where you pick it up. They run the requisite background check as if you're buying a new gun from them.
Then, still hurting from the cost of the rifle, you buy ammo.

That's not an M4 in that photo up top (if that's what you were referring to); it is an AP4 which I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) is semi-automatic. It is legal to own fully automatics in some states, but all of them require periodic checkups and many states require that you register with your local police department so that they are aware that you are their AOI with your weapon.
To the best of my knowledge, M4's (like M16's) which are full auto or burst capable are illegal in most states.

He's correct. I own what many would call an M4-gery. Instead a 14.5" barrel + flashhider (doesn't satisfy minimum legal length requirments for civilian ownership), mine has a 16" barrel + flashhider. My rifle is semi-auto.
Second, Class-III/NFA firearms (full auto, suppressed, short-barreled) are all handled by the ATF. If you live in a state where Class-III firearms are legal to own, you must first obtain a "Form 4" from the ATF.
The Form 4 must be signed by the chief law enforement officer in the county or city in which you live, or by the state attorney. You then submit the Form 4 to the ATF with a $200 check. In 9 months or so, you hear back, "yay" or "nay".
Civilians can only own registered machineguns that were built before 1986. And prices? See here: Colt SP1 (70s) M16 carbine (NOT an M4) (http://www.impactguns.com/store/MGT-PJH7777.html)

Heh, they look so strange to me with those longer barrels. I'm used to the shorter M4 barrel from my time in the Army. I wouldn't want to contend with that longer barrel out in the field... it would get hung up on everything.

It's only 1.5 inches longer than a true M4 barrel. Snagging is a non-issue.
There are better rifles out there, anyways.

Yeah, I guess you're right it is only 1.5" but it makes a big difference when you're just looking at it.
I agree that the M4 and M16 (A1&A2) aren't the best out there. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that they are pieces of garbage. Easy to jam, not as accurate as nicer rifles... tend to rattle (badly) after they get used for any length of time...
I guess they're just popular items because the military uses them.

Granted, if you've handled both, those 1.5 inches adds 8 ounces and you can definitely feel it. And yeah, some do tend to sound like a can with nuts and bolts in them, don't they? My AR was a hype-purchase. I'm leaning towards a FAL, next. .308 for me, thank you.
