WOW: Troll shadow priest ftw

I love Pvp with my troll shadow priest. Its a common belief in WOW that troll priests just do not exist. muhahahahaah Im often mistaken for a mage off the bat and left alone.

all my time in wildhammer on the horde side I can say that I've never seen a troll priest...In fact the only trolls I've seen were either rogue(res might be the only one I've seen as a troll rouge) and mage(perse and a lot others) :dunno:

Your right. There racial spells are crap. At least Blizzard pretty much acknowledged this which is why they stated trolls will go through major overhauls. This was listed under some priest thread btw, so at least they know its fairly crap and were next on the list for a re-vamp. Until then I am content with grinding out those last 17 levels becasue troll priest in pve are just fine, and in pvp----unless they recognize your name, your ok there for a bit too. (unfortuatley, too many poeple know me now and that troll priest disguise only lasts so long, mind flay or not)

Ive never seen anyone say, "ewww IM not grouping with a troll priest" Thats insane. Trolls are no different in PVE then any other priest, or at least the difference isnt that significant. If anyone makes the argurment that an undead preist is better because they have that extra DOT then your not grouping with the right people in an instance if you have to rely on the priest for damage. There are some instances like RFK where we usually go with 2 priests, 1 healer 1 shadow. Undead Shackle is nessacary for getting the elites out of the way and just makes the fights that much easier.

Yeah, DoT just adds soloability. In PVP the only other advantage is the undead stun/fear purge racial ability.

I totally agree with that,and since as it appears to me right now, the grind starts at level 42 ( meaning lack of quests and your not leveling anymore) that extra DOT would be nice in PVE. Ive laid 3 of my talent points in reduce cooldown for mindblast ( all my talent points are shadow) so I can effectively Mind Blast, Shadowword, Mind FLay,MindBlast. It used to be two Mind Flays in that rotation. The only sucks about shadow priests is you cant really Shadowform in PVP. Contrary to what Ive read on the WOW message boards, shadow priests are not ignored in PVP. More like an insect to a buglight. "Hey look at me! Im a priest!"

No, there isn't a priest in PVP who is ever ignored. Its the same as a monk in GW... you always kill them first so the assist train will call you out on Teamspeak and you'll be dead in a few seconds if you don't get a fear off have have a stun locking rogue near you.

Shadowform itself will save you though 15% damage reduction that can't be dispelled is your most viable form of self defense with purges and dispels being so cheap/easy to cast, all other forms of defense you have are 'spotty at best' if you ask me.

Again, just like monks in GW (or Ele's that have a monk secondary) as soon as you start slinging heals everyone on the battlefield is going to assist train on you until your dead as hell. :) Its just so obvious... shadowform or not.

BTW Jeffz0r, let me know when you finally cave in and switch to WAND SPEC and grind in the fastest and most efficient way possible.. :)

Cant say Ive respecced wand.......but i made christina respec.......took a look at her skill trees today aND almost whacked her up side the head. She had talents in ICe, fire, etc etc....for crap that wasnt even on her 1st or second spell bar.


Chipped in for the 5 gold respec.....She is now hitting for TRIPLE what she did respecced full arcane, SAVING mana, and RECHARGING mana

Its not just like night or day.....its like a full week. No joke were killing things triple quick once she was set straight.
