OK, well I am at ascention with my lvl 18 monk... and I Can't beat myself(perverts stay out :D ) people who have successfully done it :wallbash: Ascended... with a monk please post how, I have tried everything, my mirror inflicts alot of damage with the bow. too much... also, how can he use sword skills while wielding an axe? is taht a glitch or what???


and yes, I am sure you can all make your jokes... but I heard them all last night on TS... :D

i think i did it first try, but what i used was the mo/w solo skill set up ( - protective bond). a good hint: you can cast enchantments before you run up the steps, so they are on when you begin the fight. i think i had on mending, balth aura/spirit, essence bond, healing breeze, symbol of wrath, bonetti's, and some other stuff.

Well when I did it I was a Mo/Me and used my secondary skills only to beat him. Try not to take any protection or healing skills, or you're drag the fight out. Try to use your secondary skills, and make sure they are damaging. A few of those then some useless ones are good as well. DoTs can be useful just be sure you don't pack anything that can cure this. It took me only 2 tries to beat him using illusion magic and domination magic.

my secondary is a warrior, and he almost doubles my damage using secondary. I think I need to go back and get some skill quests done :wallbash: as I pretty much flew through the game with him! In fact I just turned level 18...

all i can say is i feel your pain it took what seemed like forever for me to defeat my mirror image in the end i just hit him with the right mix of magic and it seemed like he had abilities i did not have

Take Balthazaars aura, retribution, bane signet and nothing else... Cast the auras before you go in and recast as needed. Keep attacking your Doppleganger melee and try knocking it down with bane signet.

Thats the method suggested on other gaming forums.

I did it, so easy! I equipped Holy Wraith, Balthazar's Aura, Symbol of Wrath, and Vital Blessing. I cast vital and holy wraith before I hit last stone, once in RUN right next to him, cast balthazar's aura and then symbol of waith, and stand there, he did in 35 seconds, as he casts vital first, at this point he is almost dead, couple of hits by him, and he is dead.
