Maps

Ok, I am getting pretty bored with the maps, and I don't even play that often. I can imagine what you all must feel like. SO....in an effort to diversify...I have downloaded a few customs. Go to www.totalbf2.com and do the same is my suggestion. I just got done installing Darfur, a POE map that has been recreated. pretty kewl so far. Just know you will get a CTD if you don't have your textures on medium.

Anyone else want a little variety?

Isn't there some setting where you will automatically download the map from the server if you don't already have it?

I don't believe there is one with the game, but I saw a beta one on TotalBF2, just seems to me that it would eat bandwidth up.

I've been getting tired of some of the maps as well. I'm sure the everyone would like to see some new ones too. Thanks a lot.

not long ago I posted the BF2 nights mob, pretty funny how alot of people don't want to fly helis and jets coz they fly like bats! :D

How does the ranking deal work if you add maps? Is the server still considered ranked on all maps, or just the official EA maps?

nope, not ranked, but at this point I don't care anymore personally. And they aren't EA maps, they are custom maps.
